Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone out here has clear bra'd there car? I'm looking for recommendations around the GTA were to get it done.

I've heard that it doesn't look good on certain colours (white), and better on darker colours (black).

Looking for opinions,

Thanks!

Trimline is an authorized dealer of 3M clear car bras. I got mine installed at the location below a couple years ago for like $200 or so. I know they have a few locations across the GTA. It saved me from a lot of stone chips. Definately worth the money.

^+1 I did my dads car last summer at thornhill tints. Cost me the same, he did the hood, mirrors, headlights and fenders. Also has warranty (3years??) for peeling or any other stuff. He guranteed me that it wont turn yellow either.

I had the 3M Clear Bra applied at the dealer when I bought the car new. It was not supposed to change colour. But, after 3 years, it started turning yellow.

I had it replaced again for $200.00

It does however save my hood from stone chips. I do mostly highway driving. Well worth the money, and the faint line you see.

Richard does all my tints! Amazing work! Thornhill Tint is the best!

So the clear bra came out nice? What is he using? 3M?

Is he gauranteeing the film from yellowing and such? Who actually did the work?

This is a stupid question but do these guys wash the car before they put on the 3m tape?

In that area, they also have to remove any wax on the paint. So, they do clean it well.

I used Trim-Line Of Metrowest as well. They did a good job. When I had my car done the owner, John Legere, was actually doing the work. That was back in 2003. The car still looks great, and the paint was pearl white.
