I went to change my water pump to the type with the metal impeller only to find out it had already been changed.
I changed it anyway.

So, you're selling a used waterpump?

lol, I did the SAME thing! I got the pump out and said, "!@#!@$.... well, I'm here now, so might as well put the new one in...." So now I've got a perfectly good waterpump sitting around too :D
bought my car used with no idea if the pump had been changed. had i left it, it would have been the original plastic crap pump that crapped out in the middle of california's 38 degree heat. so I bought it, and sure enough i didn't have to... just my luck.

Ya it's used.
It's a shame to throw it out as I'm sure it has low miles on it.
Best offer takes it.

I thought they are prone to fail regardless of impeller...but the plastic ones do fail a hell lot faster...
the bearing fails and it creates play in the shaft...

The M3 water pump is the same as any other e36 6cyl water pump, so yes it will fit a 325.
My last water pump failed at the bearing, not the impeller. It started to get loud then began dumping coolant under pressure via the shaft seals.

I changed it at 100K, but it had already been changed.
Since the warrenty ended at 60K, I would guess this one has 30k on it.
