For sale: Venerable British car, only three previous owners. Offers around £2-million ($4.07-million). But this is the world's oldest surviving Rolls-Royce, built in 1904. It was only the fourth vehicle produced by the partnership of Charles Rolls and Henry Royce and is the oldest one still running. Car 20154 is a small 10-horsepower open-topped two-seater with the licence plate U 44. "It is in perfect condition after loving restoration in the 1950s.? The purchaser could get in and drive it away," said Tim Schofield, head of British motor sales at auction house Bonhams. The car was first exhibited at the Paris Salon in the fall of 1904 and displayed at the Olympia Show in London in February, 1905. Nearly 103 years after it first appeared there, the car will return to Olympia for auction on Dec. 3.

A waste of money is modding the shit out of an E36 that'll never be worth anything anyway.

A 100+ year-old RR is a piece of history. Even if it can't do an 11 sec 1/4.

Cool car. I was reading an article about Ralph Lauren and he purchased an old Ferrari for $600k which is currently valued at $14M - now that's an investment!!!
