Doesn't matter what the car is, just what type of bulb you need. The E46 M3's have H1 or H7 in the fogs i believe. Correct?

Sorry I forgot to add the pics up here from the other thread. The brand is called supervision from china.

m3fan888 I'm actually fairly sure that they take HB4's so 9006, thats what realoem says anyway and another site that I refer too. Maybe check the owners manual to be 100% before ordering

For E46 M3, the fog lights use 9006. This is the same set up for the MTech II front bumper. For facelifted sedan the fog lights use H11 and the daytime running lights use H7.

I think most of the guys on this forum would take H1's since thats what the Fog lights and Projectors are on the E36's. As for color, i'd say 6000k is a good color to get, most people i think get that.

Also, would you know by any chance what bulbs an 01 VW Cabrio takes?

I tried searchin the net, but all i get is either older gen Cabrio's or newer VW's, but i'm not positive what it is!

i'll need 2 sets. H4 and 9006 both in 6000k

Quick question.. how reliable are your products and your customer support/replacement? What i mean by that is i know a few local people here that have purchased their HIDs from another sponsor and some of them had to replace their ballasts 2 or 3 times in less than 3 weeks of purchase? Your prices are great.. but if things go wrong how fast can you get me replacements?

kurupt_k
10-17-2007, 10:31 AM
im not shitting on anyones threat but i would make sure you can get replacements, because i have seen ballasts that look identical to those dying very quickly.

Soldo, thanks for the info.
wouldn't happen to know what the hi's and low's are on a 95 325i would ya?
BTW I did some research and I'm 99% sure that the 01 cabrio takes H7 in the low and 9005 in the high

e36_freak your right i'm going to go through paypal and also I did some research and I think the svx takes 9006 in lows and 9005 in highs and the legacy takes 9007 I may be wrong though can anybody else help us out on this.
So you though 9006 for the svx and h4 for the legacy?

e30_kid89 Sorry can't get my hands on any 3000k kits unfortunately. Alot of guys have inquired about that.

E36is I'll be totally honest I don't know who reliable the kits are. I do know that my supplier lives 15 minutes away and told me that If someone has a problem to bring him the broken part and he would give me a new one right away. I also know how i'd expect things too happen if I was a customer with a broken light (actually happenned to me lat time I bought HID's used) and can assure you that the fastest possible way to get you a new product is what i'll do.

oldskool3 jackass how about the $45 you owe me for the sens ticket first:mad: (meet my jerk face brother who never pays you back)

bmwm5lover awsome to here you want a few kits just let me know when your ready too buy. I think your Volvo S70 takes H7's

IS there a discount if you buy 2 or more(like shipping o w/e)? If you buy 2 kits it's $235 shipped. If you want to buy bigger amounts you can pm with what you'd want and we could work something out.

Thanks for all the interest and questions guys. keep em coming.

Not a stupid question because I don't know it either. Soldo said that e36 projectors take h1's in low beams and h1's in fogs.
When I look it up it says 9006 in lows and h1 in fogs.
Are your lights projectors? or free form?

NateoriouS
10-17-2007, 03:26 PM
projectors...

so if it were both h1's or 9006 and h1's ... either way i'd need 2 kits right??

and also, is it possible to get the more yellowish hid's?? or are all of these blueish?

Hey Lee,

I'll buy 2 kits ... one for my 328 (9006 I think) and 1 for my suburban ... gotta check what style those are. 4300k for both. No shipping required for me :)

Soldo
10-17-2007, 07:42 PM
Okay, some clarification to help the seller.

The E36 US SPEC headlights, are 9006 bulbs. The E36 projectors (OEM, or Aftermarket replica's) take H1 bulbs, but if they're OEM or Replica Parabolic headlights (no projector, and it came on newer E36's) then it's an H7 bulb. There are a few aftermarket headlights that aren't OE replica's so they take whatever they say. The problem with the US lights is they have a very poor light output compared to the euro headlights.

All OEM E36 foglights use H1 bulbs.

Also, you would need two kits if you want to run them in 2 pairs of lights. As for the highs.... i've never seen people do HID highs, but that'd be nice to see cause you would have HID's as daytimes. Generally, if you get the brightest hid's (4300k, closest to the color of sunlight) they'll be just as good if not brighter than your highbeams.

The higher color you go, the nicer the lights look (more blue/purple) but the less light output you get. Thats why 6000k is a good/popular color for looks and performance.

New Info on the kits guys. I am also no able to get 5000k so if this changes any of your orders let me know.

Alot of the common stuff you want actually just mostly the guys wanting 9006 and H1 are out of stock right now in locally however he does have them in 9005 which he says looks almost the same. He also has alot of 8000k right now but he says it's bluer than the 5000k.

Anyways if the guys who want 9005 and h1's are okay with 5000k than I can get them out too you next week. If not I can get all your 4300's from the factory to me by late next week.

Also I bugged the guy and he's looking into 3000k for everyone who asked so i'll know this week if they are possible too get.

Thanks guys

couple more questions for you:
do you just disconnect the harness and plug in this kit in between?

does this throw any e36 obc lowbeam failure codes, or do the ballasts have a built in resistors to prevent this?

Just unplug your stock bulb and plug the stock connector into the ballas and theres 2 other connectors between the bulb and ballast and voila finished.

I'll have to look into the resistor in the ballast. I know that e34's have the same problem and when I plugged mine in yesterday to see what it looked like i didn't get a code. Mind you i only plugged in one.

hmm crazy, same box but different inside packaging and looks to be different ballasts but the wiring looks the same. They probably come from the same factory as the ones I get i'm assuming same with the rest of the cheaper ones on ebay. I guess my advantage is that I live in Ottawa (closer than china) and care what the people who buy from me think of me as a person as well a good seller. Like I said 'm not out to make mountains of money just pass on a good deal that I came across. Good deal the guy has though, i'm assuming my warrenty is better unless he has someone living in ontario.

Good eye Kurupt *wave*

Good news guys if it is like my kit than they have good things to say about it
Waterproof with weatherproof metal ballasts.
Plug & play, easy to convert, no cutting wiring required, needs only 20-40 minutes to install.
On average, 10 times the average life of traditional halogen bulbs.
Greater luminosity: makes it super easy to drive at night and bad weather.
ISO 9001:2000 & E-mark Certified.
Solid metal Waterproof/Weatherproof ballast. Voted #1 for highest quality HID kits on eBay.

Looks like it's the identical kit Chris! Holy Shite. $45 U.S for an HID kit; This scares me, the direction that HID kits have gone to. Reminds me a lot if those knock off blue "xenon" halogen bulbs that last about 3 months and then die, everybody put them in their civics.

I remember paying $900 back around 2002 for a Xenon depot 6000K kit.

Its amazing how much the prices, and quality have dropped.

I donít know, I'd be hesitant. We do drive BMW's you know. We have to spend a little money to keep up the prestigious German reputation.

I'm a little worried as well. My neighbour bought 5 MCcculloch kits for himself and his family a while back, and they all failed. He got in contact with MCculloch and they told him to send everything back due to a small recall. We found out from the company they recently sold their all their defective stock to a Chinese HID company. These ballasts look exactly like the MCculloch ones I pulled out of his cars, and almost identical to the MCculloch kit I had back in late 2003 after I got rid of the Xenon Depot kit.
