SO whats left to complete the car? just the engine and tranny?

The car will need two front seats and a motor and tranny. There is a motor and tranny in the car that I will let go with the car for an extra $1500. so a total of $8000 or best reasonable offer....

so if motor and tranny are already in the car, why not just complete it and sell as a complete car?
am i missing something?

also info like who did the paintjob and how much you paid for it and how it was prepped would help i imagine.

Well the paint was done buy a body shop in etobicoke which probably wont be know to many. What I paid will be told to the buyer of the car I have all the paper work and it will all be given to the buyer...How it was preped is one of the dumbest questions I have ever herd who askes that come on. Lets see um it was sanded primered sanded again sanded again sprayed with a black coat to make sure the panels are straight and then blocksanded again then a finish primer and water sand then it was cleaned and painted... Hopefully that answers your dumb ass question....Oh it has like like 5 coats of clear the paint is good trust me..... just come see the thing and you'll see.

ignorance is a bliss. How a car was prepped (and the bill would reflect that) has a lot to do with how long the paintjob is gonna last (unless you like rust bubbles in a year). From what you've said, it was done decently - mentioning this should help your sale.

good luck with the sale, you'll need it with that attitude

You say it has a Salvage title. Do you have all the necessary papers from the insurance and bodyshops outlining quotes, work completed, etc etc? And its title is easy to convert back to rebuilt I suppose? Because in Ontario, they are pretty anal regarding papers and such to back up if a car is safe and whatnot, just curious.

I do have all the paper work from the ins in Pennsylvania and the bill form the body shop all the pics and bills for the parts.... The car was absolutely rust free and is in great shape... very very minor damage to the right front. needed a hood a bumper rad support and the fender easy easy fix you can ask Bruce and or anyone else who saw the car at luxtec....

I saw this car before, and it was sold before I could take a closer look. I can't get my pm to work, so I hope you don't mind me ask this question; how does one get this car plated? what are the basic steps?

big_boostE36
10-16-2007, 10:14 PM
I don't really wanna sell the motor with the car as I will loss money that way but it is a 2003 330 motor with 40thous km. As for how to get it on the road I have the form 1 that is needed and I have the bill from the body shop all the pics and the insurance form from the company that owned the car before it went to auction also the body structure I will do before someone buys the car. If someone has a decent offer don't be shy I can also sell the rims separate and that will lower the price.........
