SuperCharger question

I've been thinkin of supercharging my 328i. After reading and searching still have a question. I've read about many peoples setups on various cars with several different superchargers. But I havent read anyone talk about lowering their compression befor they add that S/C. What i would like to know is if I can reliably S/C my 328i without having to lower the compression.
Any info is appreciated.

i have my 328 supercharged

depends what kit you get, i have the AA kit...
when you send in your ECU, you have to tell them your mods, and then they will mod your ecu with that.
i had some issues, got a fuel reading and resent my ecu to them (2nd time) after this, i'm very happy with the results. you will have about 250 HP at the wheels, with a stock motor (100 HP upgrade)
