Maintenance light has turned on...

So i turned on my car and the inspection light is on...
Forgive my lack of knowledge but is this just another maintenance light signalling me to do some maintenace work? ie. tune up? or is this signalling me that there is a problem with my car?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

is it the one in the center of the cluster? next to the green/yellow/red led's? if so then yeah its just a maintenance light. its the 'check engine' light you have to be worried about.
