I need to replace the clutch on my car. I was looking at the sach's clutch kit from turner motorsports. Anyone used this? Is it good? Will it work? Do I need anything else, or should i change anything while I have the tranny out?

Sachs = OEM (ie that's what BMW would sell you)

Try bmaparts.com and email/call Patrick, I bet you'll be pleasantly surprized with the price.

The clutch kit will come with a new throwout bearing but order a new pilot bearing as well. Remove the flywheel while you're at it and have it machined (get new bolts too).

Make sure you get new flywheel mounting bolts & pressure plate mounting bolts. Those little ****ers are usually stuck in pretty good.

Is there anywhere locally where I can get it? And don't say the dealer because I might as well just bend over the table. The kit on TMS is $212.95 US.

So I guess i'd get the one on the bottom?

Before you consider his price, whatever it is, ask the US shops for the shipping price to your house, and add duty and taxes which you will be charged at the border (then convert to Canadian).

Yea, I figured that. If he has the whole kit then i'll just buy it off him. I asked the price because maybe he wants all of that paid back lol. Which I highly doubt. I'm just waiting for a reply.
