A cpl questions, if you dont mind...

- Are you the orig owner?
- If not, how long have you had it? and/or how many owners has it been thru?? (in other words do you know the full history?)
- internal work?? Valve jobs or freshening(s) as 188k is a *pretty* big number km wise...
- timing chain? water pump? (if replaced - when?)

Thanks,
DRowlison

In answer to your questions:

A. I have owned the car since 167,xxx kms

B. The car has been mine for just shy of two years now and I have the complete vehicle history on it. I am the third owner. The first owner had it until 160,xxx kms. The reason that he got rid of it was because his Family was getting bigger and he needed more space. He traded it in along with cash for an X5. The second owner was a dealer. He owned it from May 2005 and I bought it off him in December 2005.

C. I have not done any internal work on it at all but the First owner had everything done to it maintenance wise according to the dealer schedule. He even took it in for a BMW Inspection II when the car was off warranty. Shortly thereafter is when his wife got pregnant and he decided to opt for the X5.

D. Timing Chain/Water Pump I have not replaced. As I said, if it was in the maintenance schedule from the First owner, then it has been done. BMW Canada is the one that gave me all the information on the car and the Dealer spoke to the previous owner as he was an older gentleman from Markham and owned the car since new.

I haven't had an issue with this car at all. I've just done my oil changes using Synthetic since it's been mine and driven it.

Hope that answers all your questions.

e36//m3 >> thanks for the info...much appreciated. As I'd be acquiring it for a spare / alternate race motor, that amount of mileage does scare me of a little, in terms of the shear numbers of motors available in the USA for about 1/2 to2/3 what you're asking w/ typically less miles.

I also notice there's another on this brd available...

Your call. I'm in no rush to sell at all.
The car is running fine and I drive it every day.

The unfortunately reality.......... with the "NEW" Canadian buck.......... going to be hard pressed to acquire that sort of dough for it. State side they go a lot cheaper as I've been told.

But unlike Mike-y (!!!) I'm staying with my S14 ......... both of them actually.
