Well the time has come, time to sell the 7er. She's been great to me and I hate to let her go but with having a new car now I don't have the room to keep it :(

1988 735i

roughly 250,000km Cluster died on me recently for reasons unknown, speedo and rpm work just fine though.

new suspension put on in April, H&R Sport with Bilstein Sport Shocks, tie rods, ball joints done on front.

car has been swiched over to running synthetic oil.

replaced the thrust arm bushings with new ones from the 750il (they are filled with oil and are much "beefier" then the 735 ones)

new front right calliper put on in may. With high temp brake fluid put in, and PBR Ultra Ceramic Pads.

euro smilely lights installed (Bosch) from a low millage car in italy (thanks again tomek *th-up*)

new oem Hella fogs just put in and have 3000k hid's in them.

transmission and engine work great smooth and still lots of power comming from the M30.

car has a LSD in it.

17" OEM BMW E60 non sport package rims with Toyo T1-R tires 235/45/17

Lovingly maintained, always hand washed and waxed, and used 94 octane gas.

Asking $4500 obo.

Pics to follow.

Thanks brother, in terms of the price, the car has far more into it then that over the time that I have owned it. I also have all the manuals etc. no bill of sale :( but pretty much everything else. It was bought new at Northwest BMW (never heard of this dealership although proly has changed names since 88 :D)

I also have all the recepts for the work that has been done by me.

For regular maintinance etc. I took it to Budds' BMW here in hamilton, since it's 2 mins from home, being in the hammer I can't really take it to RMP, Bimmersport or Marcus Glarner for most stuff due to the distance and working everyday.

Suspension work was done and parts ordered at RMP (Thanks again Rocco! *th-up*)

Other things such as the brakes etc. were done at Marcus Glarner Motors in port perry.

Also I forgot to mention that the car was also swiched over to run synthetic oil (system flushed out and now running 5w30 if I remember correctly)

How hard are these to maintain? I hear they have electrical problems? What's the gas mileage?

Did you recently paint the chrome bumper and your lip?

How much for wheels and tires? Some people might be interested in them.

To anyone who buys Hound's 7, I have a valve cover gasket for the M30 that I'd be willing to part with for like $5. ... I'm not saying that this particular car needs such a gasket right now, but it may in the future.

Not to be an ass, but i HATE SCAMERS in this post
http://maxbimmer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=90642
you post your car has
I quote
" The reason it says it's at 300,000 is because the cluster was swaped by the previous owner and in reality the car only has ~270,000km on it (bought it in january with 245,000-250,000). "

And now your saying it has
I quote
"roughly 250,000km Cluster died on me recently for reasons unknown, speedo and rpm work just fine though."

Smells like bullshit to me, I would stay away, the seller is a liar

Sorry bro, but these are the facts and you posted them yourself.... thank you

dude get a life... First of all Sean is a good buddy of mine and is not a liar.. and secondly, if your at 250.. whats another 20km? If I had a new cluster in I wouldnt keep track of it too much.. like he said, it does not move..

Tone it down a little, be respectful, people make mistakes

I am being respectful, and I'm aware people make mistakes, I'm not here to cause anything, but I hate when people mislead others... especially when I was considering purchasing the car; that really aggravated me.
I'm sorry if I was too strong with my other comment but everything I posted previously was his own words....

...and to be honest with you how do I know for sure its not 20 km or 50 km ??? I don't know that for sure especially with his own misleading threads.

I will admit the car looks amazing and it visually looks like has been really taken care off, but just cause of the posts I can't justify if theres anything else not being hidden.
Sorry, if I offended you, and the original poster but if he knows he bought the car with 250 km on it and put on extra mileage on it, why not just post that. Why mislead..
