Didnt make it out to Shannonville due to brake problems, thought i had it all sorted out the night before but it keeps hanging up on me  hence these awful donuts.

I got a nice little fireball 11sec into the vid :)

Hahaha that's the flea market isn't it.

That's not too bad for an open diff car.

Nope! looks like the flea market but its not. I will say that this lot is in the same area and is perfect for a mini dori meet.

Its ok for an open diff i guess, i have a hell of a time tryin to get the back end to come around even with the rear sway bar uninstalled.
When trying to induce donuts, i stomp on the gas then lift and jump back on the gas to shift the weight to the front, doesnt work though.. i guess not enough trq*mumble*

I know you guys love the crazy paint job and bling bling 14" mismatching wheels *shiner*

n2ozebozz - thanks :)

its a 5spd..

full throttle, drop clutch in first gear, mash brake pedal while on the gas, hold on for dear life.

*th-up*

when your at full throttle and pressing the clutch at the same time, doesn't it wear out the clutch?

1) First gear
2) Foot all the way on clutch
3) Lots of gas with right foot
4) Drop clutch and immediately step on brake pedal, but not too much or you'll over drag the rear brakes
5) Keep on the gas and smoke smoke smoke.

Takes some finesse to nail the right combo of gas and brake. Try in slippery conditions first if you're scared.

Finess is key, you gotta be fast with your feet.

Here is an example, except that I am rolling when I kick the clutch, and then slow it down gradually, burn for a bit, and then take off. Fun times.

But you are still able to do it from a stand still in the e30 no?

Of course. I don't know why I decided to be moving, but the whole buddy hanging halfway out the window was a last minute thought. Came out pretty cool. If you click on my username on the tube you can see the donut video right before I did that. It's just donuts and tailwhips, nothing serious. I keep the drifting to big box store parking lots. 3rd gear at costco FTW.

Hahaha, thanks. I really REALLY need to build another track toy, and make it a rear spring swap and swaybar setting away from being an insane drift car. That or just turbo the m30, once I get it into a shell.
