Double Din Installed(everything Works!!!)

Hey guys,

I got the double-din screen installed and everything works perfect, didnt loose any air or heating. The installer modded the damper rod, and mad it perfect. looks factory. If anyone is interested let me know and I will give you the details. He did it for $2200, this includes screen(Kenwood DNX-7100 all in 1), installation (6 hrs), materiels, PAC(steering wheel controls) installed 3 sets of RCA's for future subs and amps. And he did this all @ my house:) I dont know if the install price will be the same in the future cause mine was a test car. The installer is Frankie"crazi"Valenti he's done cars like the batman sound truck from autoshows. He's amazing, there is nothing he cant do! I think this is the best mod I got and my rims lol. nice install! so you cut your ducts? behind the dash to fit that Double din in?

was there any other way to avoid cutting the ac/heating ducts?

i didnt get nothing cut, the rod the moves the ducts for the feet air/heat was moved lower to make room for the screen. everything is the same as stock. And the HK sounds better now since the screen has an amp built in. the installer will send me pics of the mod he did to the rod. if you guys want anymore info add me to msn and ill explain it better

o ye and cut the damper to fit the screen, but they made a cradle and sealed it. There is no way to fit the screen if you dont cut the damper. it doesnt effect nothing.

that is a beautiful install, I love the way that looks. The price is hefty for me, but that was well worth it and turned out nice.
