Car looks very clean. Just curious though. What model Alpine deck is that? I like the orange buttons. Also, what front lip is on the M bumper?
08-29-2007, 12:05 PM
...That Alpine deck is fully-customized. It's the 9815 MP3 deck with all of the 46 green & blued micro-LED's replaced with BMW amber ones ;) The screen is also covered with an amber filter to match the factory ///M cluster lighting.
The lip is a custom-made Carbon Fiber AC SChnitzer 2-piece replica.
...It's harder to see in the pictures above, but the super-unique OEM E36 M3 rear-bumper diffuser and boot handle are also made out of Carbon Fiber. So are the E36 grilles in the front ;)
It took a while to get all of these OEM+ Carbon Fiber pieces imported from Germany, Japan and US, but the car is truly unique because of them. The person who buys this car will have a one-of-a-kind ///M3!

Nice and clean!
Did you do the deck mod yourself or had some do ot for you?
08-30-2007, 01:01 AM
I want that CF diffuser!!!!
08-30-2007, 11:16 AM
The Alpine deck was modified by my friend who's got a super-precise soldering iron at work. The parts for this mod are readily available at www.digikey.com
If anyone is interested in getting any of the Carbon Fiber pieces on my car, talk to jonny_blaze
He's got the info on my supplier and he'll be able to hook you up with any custom-made CF parts.
...Still looking for a new home for my ///M3.

You'll have yourself a buyer in the spring when I have the money, if it's still around that is.

The car now has a valid Emissions Test and a Safety Certification.
A set of fresh control-arm bushings and a rear ball-joint ($500) was replaced at BimmerSport.ca in order to make the car 100% Safety-Legal.
I have also put on a new set of 4 GoodYear Eagle F1 GS-D3 tires ($1300):
More information on the tire specs can be found here:
This M3 is now perfect and it's ready to go to a new home. It's ready to be registered by the new owner as soon as it's purchased.

i so want this.
but I wouldn't like to wear it down on the daily 401 commute :(
this thing is a trophy.. all the little details make it look so amazing i'd hate to mess up even one part of it from stone chips/whatever :)
09-12-2007, 12:54 PM
This M3 handles highway miles like a charm!
The 3M RockGuard on the hood and bumper of the car prevents all stonechips!
twotimer, if you're interested in my M3, give me a shout!
