Since I'm not getting much interest for the sedan, I thought I'd see if there was any for my coupe.

I'd be selling it stock with no mods, certified and e-tested - asking $5,900.

Here's the deets:

1997 328is 5spd - Sport Package
Black Exterior (Cosmos) w/ black leather interior
235,000 Kms

All the usual stock goodies (heated seats, sunroof, etc...)
Stock sport rims w/ arctic alpin winters - 205/55 R16 (also have a set of almost new Fuzion ZRI's summers which I'd throw in for an extra $400)

Regular service with full history
Clutch was replaced at approx 162,000

Pics (these are a little old - I'll get some newer ones up soon)

Send it out west, I'll sell it for you, and we'll split the profits :)

How's the paint? Rust? Accidents?

How's the paint? Rust? Accidents?

Paint's in decent shape and it's never had been in an accident. There's a little rust spot on the L/R fender, one on the pass door, and some bubbles on the trim peice below the trunk lid (where the trunk seal mounts onto). Front nose panel and hood both have a few stone chips.

Nothing out of the ordinary for a car w/ 235,000 Kms :)

Thermostat was last replaced at approx 183,000 Kms (every 60K before that).

As far as I know, the water pump was replaced (w/ metal impeller) under warranty by the original owner.

The car also comes with a detailed service history from Nov/00 and 80,000 Kms. It's a high miler, but has been serviced properly.

Thanks man. I can't belive your ride didn't sell - at $7K, it was a steal!! It's tough selling a car w/ mods though.

Good choice on keeping the car - you'd have probably regretted selling it!

Do you have an as-is price?

Sure - $5,800. The car doesn't need any work to pass the safety and e-test, so the as-is price is $100 less.

Sorry, no. The price is for the car in stock condition - no mods.

If both of my cars end up selling, the mods will be for sale separately.

Friday bump.

To leave any of the mods on the car, here's a list of adder costs:

Bilstein Sports w/ H&R Springs - $600
18" ACS Type III rims - $1200
Clarion Deck w/ Sirius, Fosgate mids & highs, Punch 4 channel amp, 2-12" Kaption subs - $1000
OEM Clear tails, fronts and sides - $450

I also have the following parts, not installed:

M3 skirts (cosmos black) - $200
M3 exhaust cat-back) - $150

If the car sells in stock condition, these items may be for sale separately.

Here's a pic of the car as it looks w/ the mods:

I may be interested... but right now there are a few cars out there selling around the same price or cheaper with lower mileage. I will come check it out soon though. I think you would get a quick buy if you forgot about your mods and let them go (well you could keep the rims and audio system), but the clears all around are nowhere near 450$ who are you kidding.

Sorry man, the coupe's sold.

Edit - I still have the 98 328i sedan though. I'm going to post a new thread for it - now selling cert & e-tested w/ a bunch of repairs done on it.
