So I got my 325e, and there is a vibration from the rear end over 40kmh. The brake rotors are fine, the diff isn't whining. I heard that there is a liquid vibration dampener type thing on the back of the diff, is this true?

swap your wheels around... check both sidewalls of the tire for a bulge.

Does it happen when you are on or off the gas? Does it happen when you brake?

A 40km vibration is most likely driveline related.

It's when i'm on the gas, like right when it hits 40 it vibrates then stops at 50.

And it has stock wheels.

driveshaft might need balancing... i remember mine would do the same thing except it was from about 30 to 40km/h and than again from about 110 to 120km/h.

It does it for like a split second when it hits 40, then it stops, I guess I don't really mind it.
