My current mechanic does not take me seriously. Maybe he doesn't like BMWs  or does not hold the same passion I have for my E30 vert. Nonetheless, I am looking for someone who I can trust to help me out in fixing up my bimmer. Hopefully not too far from mississauga. Any help is appreciated!

My first project is finding an engine and tranny and doing a 5spd swap. My timing belt broke royally screwed up my engine, which is ok because I am looking to upgrade anyway.

Looking for any help!

Thanks
Dazz

I recently bought an E30 and took my car into the dealership for some work. Frankly I was quite happy with them, but I wanted to try an independed shop in the Toronto area as well. I have been recommended Bolton Motor Works; Chuck's Auto; as well as a shop in the Beaches and another in Etobicoke - both names escape me at this time.

Everybody here recommends Bimmersport, but I'd like to know the reasons as well! I may have to go for a drive to check them out though.

from my experiences and knowledge Bimmersport and RMP are one of the top shops around especially on this board, its just a matter of personal preference i believe both shops do equaly good jobs and posses ample skill levels
