Now I'm not talkin' about the "is" front lip. I'm talkin' about the whole dang thing. We want to change the one on my car. We have access to a much better one. After taking the bumper off, we noticed that it's not just screwed on behind the bumper. It seems to be part of a big frontal piece. After a quick look, taking it off seems to be a much bigger job than expected.

Do you guys have any hints and tips for our operation?

Oh yeah, by the way, it's an '88 E30 325is.

Well, if you have an '88, that means you have the old bumper but new valance. Are you talking about putting the newer style plastic bumper on? If so, it's easy on an '88 model. Or, are you talking about fixating Mtech bumpers and valances?

The iS lip fits right on your valance.

Nope. We have access to a donor '88 325is which has a very nice "is" front skirt. We want to use it to replace the one on my 325is.

Sure, knock yourself out.

And while you're there, give it gunmetal 17" wheels, a blue lagoon paintjob and a 2 inch drop, while you're at it! :)
