I painted the grills with Flat Black Auto paint from Canadian Tire. I think I sprayed like 5 coats but it turned out really good. Paint cost like 5 bucks

Yeah I had to take the grills out because I didn't want to get overspray on anything. It should be pretty easy to take them out. I was thinking of clearcoating the grills but decided not to.

you have to stick your fingers inside the grill. On the side edge (closest to you headlights) there should be clips that you press. When these clips are pressed you have hold them down and pull the grill out. It take some force do don't be afraid of pulling a little hard. The clips should be easy to bend

the clips should be in the circles areas in the inside of the grill. try feeling for the with you finder and pressing

That looks like crap and I would never do that!!!!!!!

Just kidding, blacken the grills are a pain the ass, to do it proper ya should sand the grills first - then primer them, then paint it'll last along time.

I have them on mine and I have to repaint them all the time from stone chips.
