Humidity was 16 and it was hot.

The runs were made after 2 mins of idling with the proceed, i'm sure the car makes even more power now.

Stock e46 M3s run around 270 to 280s on the dyno.

Ado is on vacation, that's why he hasen't posted yet.

Paul @ spitfire was a big help, we went there under rocco from RMP's recommendation, and were very happy with the experience.

The 335's torque is completly insane. Ado's car came with the stock 17 inch rims in the rear, with 225 contisports, and they in no way hold the power at all in 1-2, and 3 would spin if not for DTC/other computerized BS.

The proceed install was very easy, i'm sure when ado's back from vacation, if you brought him a case of beer or two he'd help you put install it.

Overall the 335 was extremly impressive, even when stock. In terms of the software upgrade, shiv's proceed was generally easy to install, the video was very detailled, (we watched it on a laptop on both proceed installs we had done).

I've driven a e46 m3 and a few proceed 335's, the 335i's feel considerably faster.

One thing i will point out that i really dont like about 335's, but which i also didn't like about my e36:
no lsd.

Ivan what exactly has he done to the 335 to make this kind of power? Is it just software? If so those number are very impressive.

I am seriously consdiering the 335 coupe right now. I was hold out until I see what kind of issues come up in the first gen engines but its too tempting.

There is a Spiltfire Performance in Brampton, 222 Rutherford rd S. They do dyno's too.

Same one probably?

Kriston, the car is COMPLETLY stock.

Pretty much here's what went into those numbers
-07 335, driven for 12000KM's
-Shiv's proceed V1.45
-sunoco 94

The ECU wasn't fully adjusted when the dyno was performed, and it was warm, the car makes more power now. No huge devation from the graph, but worth mentionning. With exhaust, this car will see 15+RWHP.

Kev its the same spitfire. If you go there, drop Ado's name, (or rocco, who originally refferred us). Paul was very helpful.

Pauls the man!

I had my Stang dyno'd and tuned there...

Dyno time alone is 100 bucks/hour, if u want his help its more...

we just took the dyno time, but he still came over and helped out...

We also tuned my friends H22A Civic there when my buddy had his cam gears installed.

Im guessing you didnt need a GT1 machine?

Red_liner740 your mustang wasn't at the shop was it? there was a mustang above the dyno (with like 295 slicks in the rear) that i kept bashing my head on.

pej, the car's ABS system reported a fault after the first run on the dyno. The car still redlined fine in every gear, no additional hardware was used. I know e46 m3's need the GT1, but i thought even the e60 M5's didn't need it? It was just a few cars that require it for dyno AFAIK, however i'm far from an expert on the subject.

Did you guys do a AFR too?
Any flat spots or power surges in the powerband, or is like stock?

Ado
07-07-2007, 02:44 PM
Hey Stalker,

There are no power surges anywhere in the power band. I think it's even better then stock but that may be because of the extra tq and hp.

Overall I'm very impressed with the power increase with the PROCede. On top of that Shiv will be releasing v2 of the PROCede has already dynoed at 380HP and about 415+ tq to the wheels. Can't wait for that update but I think I will have to get my exhaust and some better tires on before I go with that.

So this is a good dyno to go to ?????

I have to get my E30 M3 to a dyno as something is messed up and I'm way down on power. And I've got way to much dough to be just guessing anymore.

Question... why such a lean AFR? (Assuming turbo'd) I'm honestly not experienced with BMW engines so bear with me though I do understand turbochargers and engine tuning quite well....

Any chance you can fill me in on a few details? (i.e advance, boost level, octane used, etc)....

Very decent power numbers indeed!

As mentioned in the Midnightcruise thread, I'd just like to share my personal experience against Ado's 335i... riding shotgun in RichieRich's (bone stock) E39 540i/6 going at it against Ado's 335i on the 401 back to 'Sauga (3am). 3rd gear roll-on, 3 honks and Ado pulled us an entire car length just in 3rd alone! Increased the gap by another car length going into 5th... very impressive, and nice sound from the stock exhaust. You dusted that E46 M3 too! Props to (finally) BMW-forced induction and Proceed.

Hmm I can't remember if I was in third or forth gear with you guys.

I know when I ran the M3 the first time I think we were both in forth but he was at low RPM in forth gear so I took off real fast. Then we did it again he was in third I kept mine in forth and the outcome was a little different where he his front of the car was right beside the rear of my car when he switched into forth and I just kept going in forth.

The 540 was pretty quick though :) It's got a tone of power at high speeds.
