Rust

i wanna ask you guys from experience, how did you get rid of the rust on the car, i have some spots and a bullet sized whole in my door...my buddy was telling me to put some white crap on it, i forgot the name and then another guy told me im just "F...ed"...

get a new door. u can sand blast it but the rust will come back. or cut and weld :( or just sand to slow it down

was the hole actually from a bullet? not good. *uzi* :P a new door isnt likely.

but seriously, most rust is fixable. from what you say, it doesnt seem like there's a lot of rust - if its just surface, grind it off, use a rust primer (rust check, or some etching primer), then paint it over with touchup.

if its a hole, and you can get to it from the back, try to fiberglass it, then fiberglass bondo on the outside, then sand, and paint.

not difficult, just time consuming. i have to get started on my own rust soon too *mumble*
