I went to the dealer to pick up an M3 bumper for my car (i know, everyone's got it, but its still may fav.) anyhow, he said i'm gonna need to choose a grill. he didn't have pics of the options, so i said i'll be back when i see my options.

anyhow, here's my questions.

1) anyone have pics of different types of grills.
2) he mentioned i'll be needing some extra stuff like air duct, hardware, etc...
3) will my stock fog lights fit?

basically, i need a list of all the part # i'm gonna need so i can get the complete kit so i don't have to go back. i was dealing with some chick at budds, and she didn't know what the heck i was talking about.

Thanks guys.

oh, and i'll be needing a place to paint it. i searched the forums and alot of guys have had good luck with Mr John??? if anyone has info or contacts, please let me know.

oh, i have a 97 328is.

I'm all for the regular M3 grill, for some reason the lux grill makes it look so much shorter.

yep rugalar is better, I really don't get wasup wuth luxury m3s. Uglier bumper, 328 sideskirts, sport seats (in coupes) instead of Darth Vaders.

Sickfinga: thanks for the pics. exactly what i'm looking for.
Thanks for the replies guys, and i'm definitely going with the regular model.

Ya, your right Gammy, the luxury does look shorter and higher off the ground...

Thanks.

since ur dealing at Budds i sugest while ur in parts department just talk to Ted or John both a very good and know their job. i usually bug them for 1/2 hour whenever i go there about parts that i'm never gonna buy

and u dont need any extra thing from what i know air ducts and "other" hardware cam included with it. the only two thing u have to choose is that grill.

they never told me that was extra  i was driving for a month with a hole in the front

the other thing which is extra is the front lip all the way in the front see picture red part. without it the bumper looks too round i suggest u buy that as well.

and your foglights will fit just fine everything is included. you can always ask them in part department

i got everything done at Budd's. they painted it and installed it for me. but like i said i had to go two more times back cuz no one told me that the grill was extra and that lip was extra too.

but i'm pretty sure u can find a cheaper place to paint and install it all for you then Budd's
