View Full Version : BMW E30M50 officially for sale!!! PICS

04-18-2007, 10:58 AM
I have made my final decision, I am selling my BMW e30m50. I love this car and many people around me including my family do also, that is one of the main reasons why it’s hard to sell it. The why I’m selling it is for my future family and home.
Here’s a little history of the car. I’m the 3rd owner since 2002. The 1st owner bought it for his 50th anniversary. 5 years later the 2nd owner was in his mid 20’s. And 5 years later was sold to me because he had one baby boy and his wife was pregnant for another one. As you can see this car is well maintained, have lots of records and bills. It was serviced at BMW dealership in it’s first 5 years. Later on was serviced by qualified auto technicians specialized in German mechanics.
A little more about the car:

• 1991 318is 2 door, full equipped, sunroof, original red color, 5 speed standard transmission, grey and black interior, Recaro cloth seats.
• Exterior: refreshed paint, water sanded and buffed, no rust, no dents, no damage, IS lip, IS rear trunk spoiler, ellipsoids headlights, front headlight and grill spoiler
• Interior: All original, no rips or damage on seats just the rear panels of seats need to be redone, one strait line crack on dashboard passenger side, Sony AM/FM CD player, original factory door mounted tweeters, Pionner speakers
• Engine: 1994 325i m50 vanos installed in summer of 2005, new engine mounts, new water pump with metal turbine, new thermostat and metal housing , new belt and tensioner, new gaskets for intake, throttle, valve cover, oil pan, exhaust and crankshaft seals, new dipstick, ITG cone air filter up to 300HP, new spark plugs
• Drivetrain: Getrag 260 transmission from 325is e30, new oem complete clutch kit, new seals, new shifter bushings and hardware, new shifter rod from a Z3, 3.73 diff from e30 325is
• Fuel: new oem pump from a e30 325is, new tank, new fuel lines, new filter
• Exhaust: dual stainless steel custom made with e36 M3 resonators and catalytics
• Wheels: 215/40/16 toyo T1S 16x7.5 mags in front and 225/40/16 khumo’s custom 16x9 with 2” lip mags in rear, original BMW wheel color
• Suspension: oem boge and apex springs, sparco strut bar
• Brakes: PBR metal master pads front and rear, Brembo cross drilled and plated disks in front, Brembo slotted disks in rear, e30 M3 master cylinder, e21 320i brake booster

It’s never been or driven in winter since the previous owner before me. All in it’s original shape, the windshield has never been changed you can still see the BMW rodage period sticker. Amazing mint car, still very strong. Lubricated all in synthetic oils. Before storage, would wax the whole car, change oil, verify oil levels and put under a car cover sitting on stands.

It was evaluated at 9000$ when I bought the car in 2002 still have the paper. Over the years I’ve invested a little more then double the value of the evaluation. I’m asking
11 500$. I will never gain back what I spent. My loss, your gain for a rare mint and very reliable BMW e30 with still lots of potential. I do regret selling it, so please only serious buyers, which means any reasonable offers will be considered.

Bro, I had my thread crapped on because I dared sell my 95 325is //M package with a few tasteful mods for $13,000; so if I was you, I would expect to see some serious thread crapping on this post.

I never understood people that fell they have the ghod given right to crap on someone's for sale post. It's his car, and he has the right to sell it for whatever he asks for it. If you don't like the price, move on.

And the Moderator's on this forum have some blame. Not enforcing a 'no craping' policy just encourages them to come out of the wood works.
They need to get tough with them and give them a one week vacation.

E30m50guy, good luck with the sale. That's a fine example of a E30.

RESPECT for your E30, looks mint from the pictures you posted, I bet it’s hard to let it go, but good luck on the sale.

And for all the thread crappers, if this person wants to sell his car for 11, 5 that’s his choice to make, if you think the price is too high, and find absolutely no way to avoid your negative posts here, then you have to understand that it could affect the seller's sale, a sale that he might really need to make, judging by the car that he's making him self let go. In my opinion, there is plenty of other discussions on MAX that you can spend your useless time in, but why on a for-sale thread?

very very nice - GL with the sale. hope you get what you want out of it.

04-19-2007, 05:21 PM
sweet ride!! if you dont get what your asking, would you be interested in parting it out? id be interested in the engine

04-22-2007, 11:37 PM
Thanks for the great support for those who are nice enough to not bash my thread.
The body has 175 000KM if i remember correctly a average of 11 000Km's a year. By the way i sold the M42, it's original engine to a guy in california, just to mention that it was still a very strong engine not blowned or anything.

The M50 engine had 80 000 Miles (128 000KM) in 2005 when i pick it up in Wisconsin state. I've put about 10 000KM's MAX not more.

Please i'm looking for interested and serious buyer, this weekend i got a call from a guy telling me that he wants to buy my car and swap the engine. I mean come on why waste your time, please go look for a original E30 with a stock engine in a fair condition and price for your future project. Dont give me the moral about how much you would spend to buy my car

04-23-2007, 12:34 PM
Holy crap (this isn't thread crapping, btw :D :D)

That is a very nice and sexy E30. You're probably not into Civics otherwise I'd have to sell my EK Hatch before committing to something like this. Already have way too much going on. (translation = my wife will divorce me and I will become very, very, poor. :D)

What a DAMN nice example of an E30.

Good luck with the sale.

awsome car! if i had the cash, id buy it, since all the work has been done. Well worth it IMO.

04-23-2007, 02:19 PM
love the wheels, goodluck with the sale.

Clean e30s are hard to find, and as a result, the values go up.
This car would sell easily in the states.

It's only 5 hours away from toronto and your still in the same country. I have it stored at my dads place in Montreal but i live very close to Hawksbury Ontario across the river. Yes it's plated in quebec and i honnestlly dont know about the Ontario safety and emission. But i can say that it's got Hi-Flow cats from a M3 and oxygen sensors.
