I have made my final decision, I am selling my BMW e30m50. I love this car and many people around me including my family do also, that is one of the main reasons why it’s hard to sell it. The why I’m selling it is for my future family and home.
Here’s a little history of the car. I’m the 3rd owner since 2002. The 1st owner bought it for his 50th anniversary. 5 years later the 2nd owner was in his mid 20’s. And 5 years later was sold to me because he had one baby boy and his wife was pregnant for another one. As you can see this car is well maintained, have lots of records and bills. It was serviced at BMW dealership in it’s first 5 years. Later on was serviced by qualified auto technicians specialized in German mechanics.
A little more about the car:
• 1991 318is 2 door, full equipped, sunroof, original red color, 5 speed standard transmission, grey and black interior, Recaro cloth seats.
• Exterior: refreshed paint, water sanded and buffed, no rust, no dents, no damage, IS lip, IS rear trunk spoiler, ellipsoids headlights, front headlight and grill spoiler
• Interior: All original, no rips or damage on seats just the rear panels of seats need to be redone, one strait line crack on dashboard passenger side, Sony AM/FM CD player, original factory door mounted tweeters, Pionner speakers
• Engine: 1994 325i m50 vanos installed in summer of 2005, new engine mounts, new water pump with metal turbine, new thermostat and metal housing , new belt and tensioner, new gaskets for intake, throttle, valve cover, oil pan, exhaust and crankshaft seals, new dipstick, ITG cone air filter up to 300HP, new spark plugs
• Drivetrain: Getrag 260 transmission from 325is e30, new oem complete clutch kit, new seals, new shifter bushings and hardware, new shifter rod from a Z3, 3.73 diff from e30 325is
• Fuel: new oem pump from a e30 325is, new tank, new fuel lines, new filter
• Exhaust: dual stainless steel custom made with e36 M3 resonators and catalytics
• Wheels: 215/40/16 toyo T1S 16x7.5 mags in front and 225/40/16 khumo’s custom 16x9 with 2” lip mags in rear, original BMW wheel color
• Suspension: oem boge and apex springs, sparco strut bar
• Brakes: PBR metal master pads front and rear, Brembo cross drilled and plated disks in front, Brembo slotted disks in rear, e30 M3 master cylinder, e21 320i brake booster
It’s never been or driven in winter since the previous owner before me. All in it’s original shape, the windshield has never been changed you can still see the BMW rodage period sticker. Amazing mint car, still very strong. Lubricated all in synthetic oils. Before storage, would wax the whole car, change oil, verify oil levels and put under a car cover sitting on stands.
It was evaluated at 9000$ when I bought the car in 2002 still have the paper. Over the years I’ve invested a little more then double the value of the evaluation. I’m asking
11 500$. I will never gain back what I spent. My loss, your gain for a rare mint and very reliable BMW e30 with still lots of potential. I do regret selling it, so please only serious buyers, which means any reasonable offers will be considered.
