Thanks guys.

Yup, just ordered the IE subframe and trailing arm bushings.

Anything else needed when replacing springs and shocks?

you can get reinforced stablizer bar ears wielded on the subframe while you have the trailing arms off for bushings...

aad rear shock mounts

Thanks, I did the RSM last year. PITA to get to, but did get rid of a rattle, they were shot.

I don't think I want to start welding.

Anyone happen to have a sub frame bushing removal tool handy?

Thanks

I've got the green IE bushings. Makes a noticeable improvement.

Mark, will you make it to the M Coupe meet?? We need to get your name on the list.

Hope to be there, but planning on being hung over. *drink*

My wife and I went to the one last year and it was really fun.

Decided to do the work my self.

Hope I don't end up with extra bolts. *no-no*

big garage you have....nice...

space and not enough height in my garage prevented me from doing it myself...Charlie was the way to go...

Sorry, I don't have the removal tool.

I used a sawzal. It can be done without it.

However, if I had to do it again I would bring it to a shop....it was a hard job to do.

Thanks.

i recently did my sub frame bushings on my e36 and it was pretty straight forward, and to my surprise the cheapest place (around newmarket) to get them pressed in was at the dealer, they charged me like $60 to press all the old ones out and press new ones in. They looked pretty shocked when i walked in there with just the sub frame in my hands and asked them to work on it.
