I raced a 96 integra gs and and a new celica gt tonite. I had not raced anyone on the streets lately so I just gunned it from the light. Both of those cars were not a contest for the 2.5.

Just thought I'd tell you because it was pretty fun, no hard feeling when we went our seperate ways. We waved and Saluted.

Yeah, I beat the non-VTEC 5spd Integras all day long in my 318is when it was stock. They just do not have any go.

Even beat 2 new Si's and a Type R at the auto-x's...on stock suspension and lousy street tires *wave*

LOL dude you will ruin them..even type-r! i like honda's a lot, easy to tune..BUT..beware of the forced induction LS/GS they are FAST..they can take like 8lbs or 9lbs stock...but on a new motor, type-r turbo is a killer car..

E30 Stu, stock Civic DX auto killed me on autox, and I got 5 spd M3. :) :) :)

but on second time I came I had 0.07 sec better time than Randy :D :D :D :D :D
But after reviewing my run on the video, I saw Randy stood up for me and I didn't get 2 sec penalty. THANKS BUDDY!!!! :D

anyway, i once raced Type R, first and last time I raced someone.
I had 3 passangers and it was my second or third day I owned the car, he was alone and he told me he had intake and short shifter. Anyway we were side by side all the time, he pulled on me for less then a second when i shifted to 4th, then we were side by side again. I didn't pull a mm and he didn't pull anyting on me, but when I shifted to fifth, I just killed him.

my point is, how can you even keep up with Type R in e30 318???

Quadruple-digit spring rates....stiff shocks.....large sway bars.....wide rubber.

sickfinga..he meant autox

but im starting to wonder about the LS integras...they are pretty fast stock..but they were meant as economy with the really tall gears, put a sir tranny in the LS and it'd whip your ass lol

ok sorry my stupid ass, I thought you beat TypeR on 1/4mile.

E30 are the fastest cars at autox.

yeah, my freind mentioned that if you highly tune the ls engine you can be quicker then type-r's and he said he would be able to keep up with me, but he was going to put a ls motor into his 97 honda civic., but never did.

if he puts a LS engine, tell him to only take the block, and put an SIR head on it with 9:1 pistons and a turbo..theres your drag car

Hondas <--- Yummy
:madnoel:

I had the pleasure of handing an S2000 owner his ass with his G/F beside him :)

He would take me on AutoX for sure, but I had to let his G/F know that the look on her face (look at this punk in this gay pickup) was indeed inaccurate.

To Big Brother: *This story is fictional, and never happened on the street.*

I really want a peice of a F/I Type-R, just to see how I'd do :)

I don't know if he is going to do the LS motor anymore, he might want to put a type-r engine, so i don't know, ill let you know when i find out more about what he wants to do.

GTS? Maybe the new ones do not the old ones tho, they are slow, even the new GT' are slow

neither of the cars MATty raced are close to a match for 325i, he could jack those cars in a 325e
nonetheless props on the kills

I still doubt that, the 318is has a 3.82:1 1st gear and a 4.10 rear.

But hey, if you wanna swap trannys, put a european dog-leg box in the 318is with a 3.73 and you'll roll GSR's. Ask me how I know.

In my old 1992 5 speed 318i I swapped an automatic differential at 4.44. It was unbelieveable how much torque there was. I could easily pull a lot of cars I never could before the swap. Anyways, at higher speeds it's a totally different story. I had a 160km/h top speed and I was running 4500RPM on 5th at 110km/h, ouch!

It was a shame I never got to autocross it, that's what high ratio diifs are best for.

Not really, I've raced a GTS at Cayuga and it was pretty damn slow. It was a 5 speed too. I think at around 100-110 I killed him by 2 car spaces.

Was he pushing his car? LOL! :D Just kidding! Did you do anything to your Horizon? Or is it bone stock? I just can't see this happening.

if you were here in canada...i'd show you what an LS with sir tranny can do...once you put the vtec head on the LS integra with Sir tranny..you basically got a type-r!! except without the different parts like the t/b intake manifold, valves etc...trust me...i've seen an LS hit 16sec no prob stock, it can do 15s with sir tranny...it'll rip a a gsr!
