is this true ? wheel power emailed it to me...anyone got a pic of the pg4's ??

Dear Jeremy,

Unfortunately, the Mutec wheels are only available in 5x120 bolt patterns. Hamann offers the PG4 (8.0 x 18) and HM4 (8.0 x 17) in the 4x100 bolt pattern. Unfortunately, we can not give out price quotes via mails. Please contact our office at 714-375-9666 or leave us your contact information for price quotes. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Thank you for your interest in Wheel Power, Inc.

I would have to say that there is a 99.99% chance they are not available for the E30. And if they are...they will be about $1G/wheel.

Like I would love to be proven wrong tho!

I think the PG4's were originally made for the Mini, check the offset on the mini, see if it's comparable with the E30.

And you might want to check the bolt pattern while you are at it too! And don't get me wrong! I would love to see those on an E30!

Mini wheel specs:
----------------------
4x100
44 - 50 mm offset

E30 wheel specs:
----------------------
4x100
25mm +/- ?mm offset

What other numbers have to match? Something about being hubcentric and centrebore size?

Waaait a minute, HM4's ALSO fit the Mini.. sooo.. it should be possible?

Those wheels are made for the mini.

The mini's hub is smaller than the e30 by a couple of mm's - I forget the exact dimensions.

You'll need 15-20mm spacers made for the mini not the e30. This is to ensure that the spacer hub lip clicks to the inside of the rim. You'll then need to machine the spacers so that they fit on the e30. The e30 hub is tapered and I think is about 10mm so it is hopefully doable.

The machine shop is going to have to be perfect though in their machining, if its offcentered even just alittle you're going to get some nasty vibration.

PS The other picture with Hamanns on an e30 are the knockoffs from autovogue I believe.

Go to autovogue.com and check out the rims there. They have a small picture of the hamann rims on an e30. I assume they did not use spacers because i doubt they would advertise it on the e30 if it required a spacer. Then again I could be wrong! When you enter the autovogue website the rims are under special offers in the bmw section.
