would there be more sensor needed to be added to the car to make all the options work?

I know a lot of guys have done this on max. Apparently it only takes about an hour from what ive heard. Not too sure if you need extra sensors..i wouldnt think so, but here's a diy on this topic.

lux... do you still have that 18 button for me? what happened to that one?

jjm - if you're swapping from a 7 button to 18 button you'll need the sensors under the engine, and the check control module behind the glove box. you'll also have to run some wires under the hood, and to your brake lights. If you're swapping from an 11 button, you don't need any additional sensors. Just need to tap into some wires behind your gauge cluster.

I love my 18 button. My favourite feature is the code ignition lockout :)
