the H1 or the military Humvee would have taken out a sizable chuck from that school bus and kept going....seeing as the H2 is a navigator in drag, not suprised.

H2 is nothing more the a piece of sh*t siverado chassy wich do not have to meet crash test standerds becuase it's considere a "CARGO" vehicle.
That their is the result.
Like to see how what the bus would look like if a H1 hit it.

I agree, the H1 is the true Hummer. When I think back at the H1, I feel that there was nothing more bad ass than a Black H1 such as this...

The H2 was made for guys who want to think they drive a real Hummer and for rappers to trick out...yeah boi! :D

A real H1 woulda pushed that bus aside or taken a good part out of that bus andkept going forusre. I hate the H2's thank god my uncle got a H1 like a real man would have.

My brother has an H1 and goes offroading on a regular basis (pic below) with the Hummer club... he tells me that the H2's have a real hard time keeping up with the H1's and (surprisingly) H3's.

You guys are silly. The H2 was obviously going at a very high rate of speed. The back end of a bus would be the winner against most vehicles on the road, including the cars you drive. So, realize that fact and stop attacking the manliness of the H2 or lack thereof.

care to show us the informatoin you recorded when analysing crash tests between the h1, h2 and h3? until then, nothing u say can change the fact that the H2 is the softest SUV/Truck on the market today. A toyota tundra takes more abuse that those peices of shit.

and where is your Insurance Institute for Highway Safety data proving that the H2 is the softest SUV/Truck on the market today? If you want evidence from the other side, provide evidence for your side.

Just FYI on the Hummer H2 crash tests, I tried to research and could not find any data what-so-ever. Nothing? I was puzzled. Oh well, no big deal.

I remember hearing something about it being a commercial vehicle, so it doesn't need crash tests? I can't recall who told me that, so take it with a grain of salt.

Also, it's basically a Tahoe/Suburban with a different body.

Isn't that the H3 story?

its supposed to get mashed up like that. its kind of a safety feature. it is meant that way so that all the energy from the crash is absorbed into destroying the front of the car instead of killing the driver.
if an x5 hit the bus, it would be the same thing. the front of the chassis is designed to absorb the energy by collapsing.
besides i agree with europrince, any car would be pretty mashed up, even the H1.

absorbed yes if part of desighn as in a race car were it explodes extracting the energy away, in this case it wasn't absorbed but imploded to the point were the buses rear bumper is now "as one" were the driver used to be.
If 1/2 the H2 was all over the road I would agree but to me it just collaped into the driver from what I see. Weaker of the two took all the dmg IMO.

H2 is just a more practical truck for people that want a Hummer...the H3 is just a shame tough.

if it were a sedan in that crash (like an e36), the bus wouldnt have crushed the front of the car, instead it would skip over and cut the top off including the driver.

whatever... lesson is, whatever car you're in, if u hit a bus like that you're pretty much ****ed

AMEN. There is no need to be haters of specific cars or trucks just because they lose against a bus.
