I have found my new s52 engine to rebuild so the time has come to start parting out my current s52 engine. I will have the engine pulled this week and will be ready to strip it.
1 Connecting Rod
1 Piston
Block
Oil Pan
Shit which is spoken for:
Cams
2 Connecting Rods

What was wrong with the original engine? Is the crank and block in good condition?

You should have said right from the start that it was a conversion to an air cooled system... :) Now it probably is worth twice the money ;).

It's just steel right? Can't you just weld a piece of sheetmetal to it?

Hey Joe, if you don't sell a con rod and piston, I would love to add it to my collection of random engine internal bits on my shelf. :D

Alvin: It might just be up for sale, once i get it ;)
Eurostyle: I feel you. I dont know if he is playing stupid or actually is. I would think anyone with minimal knowledge knows once a block is hole'd that its finished.
