I am looking for a blower motor(fan) with a good resistor unit. Mine is growling badly and making the fans kick around. I only have one speed as well(high).
Also always looking for a set of foglights.

You have the late style, early blowers were only in 318i's IIRC.

you can measure the blades also.
early styles were only 4''
Late models were 5''
Good info. FYI, all three of my E30's had the late style motors, two '87 and a '91.

Thanks, i think ill call the wreckers. That should be a good bet i hope. Theres no e30's in the wreckers local to me, so i need to take a trip. I'll be in the ottawa area this coming weekend if anyone can recommend a wreckers there that may have some e30s.

Just a word of caution: when you put a used e30 blower motor in an e30, it's as old as your car and just as likely to start screwing up again soon. I put a used one in my car, and my wife's, not a very fun job, and it has been blowing fuses and making noises. I bet I won't get a year out of it. If you are thinking of driving your car for a few years, consider getting a new one from autohausaz or someplace reasonably priced like that.
Otherwise good luck.
