Just picked baby up yesterday, such a great truck to drive, lots of power, handles GREAT, i love the comfort seats :D and the overall look of the vehicle.
it's an '06 4.4i X5 Schwarz on black int. it has the Executive pkg on it, which has: different 18" rims, servotronic steering, panorama sunroof, front headlight washer jets, Audiophile sound system with DSP and 12 speakers, heated rear seats, aluminum running boards, park distance control.
Better pics comming in the next couple of days, it gets dark to damn early!!!

Hate to be the one to tell ya, but your steering wheel is crooked :huh?:
Good timing on the trade, someone's gonna be styling this winter :)

Thats sooo pimp Sean!!... take that onto the track this year.. eh ehhh?? LOL
11-20-2006, 02:57 AM
btw i thought all the facelifted x5s have this steering wheel....that steering wheel bothers me to hell and back as it reminds me of the e36 sedan wheels
11-20-2006, 04:46 AM
thanks for all the props guys *th-up*. that wheel above there is the sports pkg wheel (also standard on the 4.8is), I like it too but finding a executive pkg + sports pkg is VERY rare. I know what you mean though, the wheel on mine is kinda old but it feels good in your hands :)
@ justin, it's a long story, and i would proly get flamed for it, but long story short, got into an accident, car was written off, got the X5 to replace it. the accident was not my fault before anyone asks, I was not being stupid or careless, just shitty timing :(. But it would seem it was a blessing underneath it all cause the E60 had 92,xxx km on it, and as such would have cost a fortune at the end of the lease in terms of millage charges. So in that respect we lucked out, but on the other hand, I loved that car, and will own one some day again, it just felt so right in every way. The truck is nice had one before, but it was the 3.0i, so the power now makes all the difference in the world.
Rost, thanks for letting me know about the wheel :P but Rodo was right it's the new active steering hahahaha good one man lol. It sure is gonna be nice, and fun :D, this winter having a 4x4 instead of the 5er i must admit :D.
Rudy, yes next season the vehicle will be taken out on the track, but since it's an SAV, I won't be going fast really......... :D
again thanks for all the nice comments guys, i appreciate it *th-up* see you all out and aboot :D
Jamie, don't worry man, i will be up soon to show you the vehicle :D
