He has got a 320iS engine. Same as S14 but only 2Litre. Not sure what mods he has done to the car but his gearbox sounds staight cut and not in the best condition. Ohh and he defo is running Schrick cams.

What makes you think it's a 2.0? Sounds like a built 2.5 to me.

Impossible, 320iS where late models with full mTech2 body kit. This is an early model with a plastic bumper conversion.

I am talkin bout the engine. Not the car. If i remember correctly they use the 320is so they get classed in the under 2ltr class! Then they change the crank to a 2.5!

What you're saying only makes sense if indeed there is a sub-2-litre class, which is doubtful, this is a drift car, not too many regulations, and the part about then changing the crank to a 2.5L completely negates the purpose.

FYI: The 320iS was Italy's M3, due to their strict displacement taxations, and as such, the Italians received 2.0L destroked versions of the S14. It revved higher due to smaller stroke, made almost the same horsepower (due to high RPM's), however made significantly less torque, especially below the peak. It is also much more rare than a traditional M3 that the rest of the world saw, so I see absolutely no incentive to find a S14B20 to use as the basis of a 2.5 build up.
