Nice ride SPURS21... Looks almost exactly like my Bimmer when I first bought it 8 years ago. What are you plans for it? What's next on you list of mods? I might be able to help you out with some hook ups and advise.
P.S. I see someone got your "is" lip spoiler too:mad:
02-04-2002, 05:38 PM
hey thanks randy, it means alot to me, yeah im missing my damn 'is' spoiler too!
here is a list of my plans, to be hopefully finished by the end of summer
firstly, I wanna do an alarm, my chip is getting installed this weekend. Within the month im gonna get tints and clear front indicators and than I have to buy a muffler cuz mine is rusting to sh!t.
Any muffler's systems recomended? I'm looking for mellow, deep sound but nothing too loud, and DTM tips are a must
After that its a cold air intake thru the left hi beam, a set of rims, red rear lights and my dad's M3 springs (hopefully he'll buy his suspension this spring).
Than im gonna do an M-Tech kit and a paint job, im unsure of the colour, Dakar yellow is my dream but I've gotta see what kinda money im talking about for a solid colour change
I've been tlaking to a guy in markham that has a full brand new m tech kit w/out the boot spoiler, he wants 8 billz canadian

Hey Spurs, I thought I recognized the subdivision and License plate (okay really the M3), I live on Irving Street right behind your street (Kenneth). Is the M3 your Dad's? Let me know when he's ready to Sell;) .
Look in your backyard, we're where the hot tub is. I'll have to stop by when walking the dogs.
02-04-2002, 11:38 PM
Nice cars! Is that your M3 also? Sweet!!!!:)
02-05-2002, 12:09 AM

do you by any chance own or used to own that 318 with the bmwcca sticker in the window?
02-05-2002, 12:11 AM
hah we will never sell the M3, thats my dad's baby, i wish it was mine but im quite happy with my 325is, ive got lots of time for more bimmers, im only 16

That would be me, the Silver 91 318is. Unfortunately it's in storage right now as there really isn't enough room for the 91 BMW 318is, 02 Protege5, 02 Grand AM (wife's company car), 86 MR2 parts car, and now 88 MR2.
Doesn't your dad also have a formula car in the Garage? What series does he run it in? I run the BMW in Solo 1, usually at Mosport, Shannonville and Cayuga.
So you have the Golden puppy, I think we have met in passing. We have the two dogs, 2 1/2 yr old Akita/Husky mix and the 3 1/2 yr old Golden, appropriately named Molson and Indy respectively.

Too bad about the M3 not for sale, had the wife's blessing to buy that to replace mine. Should have my BMW out of storage shortly, as I have the following in the basement waiting to be installed; New Bilstein Sports, New Cross drilled rotors, Suspension Techniques Sway bars, M3 Control Arm bushings, and new rear Subframe bushings.
Already has Eibach springs, 3yr old Brembro x drilled rotors, Custom chip, Brullen Exhaust, Motronix K&N Cone filter, 4 point harness and 3 sets of tires & rims (Kumho R compounds, Winters and Summers).
Am also debating about installing a roll bar this year, but that will depend on signing a sponsor or two.

yah we sold the formula 4 car, we needed the space, we have 5 cars for 2 parking spots
right now my dad is debating on whether racing the m3 next year I beleive

Here's a pic of my dad's Brullen Cat back system on his Euro M3.
