I put 18 x 8.5's on my E36 this summer. I had to roll the fender lips in in the back because they were rubbing big time. They still rub a bit if I have people in the back and I go over a bump. I'm not sure how much worse this will be with the extra 1/2".

Oh ya, sorry, I'm rolling 225/40's. Hope this helps.

i know one of my friends e36's has 245 on 17 inch wheels on there, and he had to offest his wheels, which makes his tires wear unevenly.....you might want to think about having your fenders rolled at a respectable shop...if you do it right then you'll never have to worry about it again right?

Ya my fenders are rolled, been looking at the size and I was chatting with Razkal he has 245' on the rear, the M3 can fit 265 no prob due to its config, I wish I could......18x9.5 :D

But I geuss I'll suffer with the 245's.......

Very nice choice !!*th-up* Is it true that e36 M3 fenders are a bit wider? :huh?: Double check with Razkal cuz I thought he was running 225s all around.

I thought they were the new RG-R.

245 wouldn't fit my car unless i rolled the fenders, 235 was as wide as i could go on my '93 325i

how much do those rims cost? I think they're absolutely gorgeous!

I am actually running 225's all around and I still had to roll the lips.. Not a biggie tho - with the machines these days that they use - no need to worry ;)

Hey Razkal and Mogie,

Who rolled your rear fenders and how much did it cost?
Does this process damage the paint?

I got my fenders done at Wheel & Tire Zone. $175 tax in. I've had no problems with the paint...I would wait until it's warm though so the paint is more pliable.

thats on a coupe, so isnt the sedan different? it has to be since the coupes are wider...

I'm pretty sure you bent your fenders, but don't forget coupes got wider fenders.

Damn you mogie, I was thinking of getting those....although in 17's. (17x8 and 17x9) :P

Ah well, how much are the 18's, just out of curiosity?

It also depends on your ride height, if you raise your car high enough you can probably fit like 275's.*wiggle*

Well hopefully are CDN dollar does not go too low, these list at a ridiculous price $760US each, I've worked out a deal with the distributor which I can't say until I actually pay for them :(
But hey, I have been craving for deep dish wheels, almost as much as my craving for deep dish pizza :D And when I saw these - I knew I had to have them, forged, and a nice shiny lip ta boot!

My fenders were rolled at a bodyshop I used, don't remember how much - no chipping of the paint either, they now sell a fender roller cheap $175.00 - so a purchase on this pyramid style could work out. See how many people need ta roll the fenders and all chip in, cheaper than individually rolling. Just my 2 cents...

I can't wait!!!!!!! Damn winter.......damn delayed shipping order....

I had mine rolled at Wheel and Tire ZOne in Mississauga. They have a proper rolling machine which does a smooth even job without wrecking any paint. It costs about 100.00
