Pretty good for a one day prep. Had to take advantage of the good weather!

And a pretty descent turn out!

2 E30's (Rob and Gary.F)
5 E36's (Jerry, Bryan, MP, Enio, ?)
1 E34 (ME!)
1 HONDA WAGON (Randy)
1 Pontiac Grand Am (BrownGuy)
1 Ford Econoline Van (selling clear markers)

Sorry, I'm really bad remembering names.

We ended up going to Tim Hortons after to chat. Good place, we should find a Tim Hortons to hang in around Yorkdale or somethin.

Hey Randy,

You have a white Honduh wagon right? That you took to the BMW auto-x in November?

-tell me I am not making things up.

Randy, no problem. Should I email it to Bliss? Anyways who ended up winning the race? It looked even from the movie I shot, looked like you caught up to Jerry at the end though.

Lonely TI... yes, that was me in the little Honda Wagon at the BMW Autocross. Keep an eye out for that car this year... I'm putting on R-Compounds to Auto-X

MTRD... it would be great if you could email it to BLISS. He's also on MSN messenger if that's easier for you. Anyways, I'm going to have to give the win to Gerry because he flat out walked away from me in third gear. From the angle of your filming, It looked even. I thought I did okay considering my car's a wagon with a 1.6L motor and the wrong ECU. 1st gear was even, 2nd as well... 3rd gear my front bumper was at his rear door.... so I guess I lost by about 2 meters? Anyways Gerry, don't worry... give me a couple of months and we'll have a rematch when I get things sorted out on the wagon.

Can't wait to see it.... BLISS?

Randy:

Yeah I was there as a spectator that day. People could probably hear your tires squiling all the way in Downtown. :D
It was just too funny. Everybody had a good laugh too. :)

I would be careful with R tires though. When you were going around the cones you had a lot of body roll. It would totally suck if you roll it.

I am planning to go there on 28th of April for sure. I want to see how my e30 rear suspension is going to handle auto-x.

Randy, I actually wanted to race your civic, I'm convinced that I could beat you, I should have last night but I was too chicken. I've been to way too many drag meets over the summer, almost 2-3 per week. These were organized ones far far away like in New Market somewhere, if your interested in this type of stuff you should join us next time! No BMW's though, just Honduh rice rockets! :)

I don't know if you know a guy named Tony, 12 sec all motor GS-R sound familiar? He seems to know you and I want to see if your M3 can take him, he has 10,000RPM rev limiter.. hahaha! Should be a good race. :)

MTRD,

You shouldn't be chicken to race a station wagon. Do you think you could take Gerry? I've been street racing for years.... if it's not my Bimmer, it's my friend's 12/13 sec Civics, or my bike... you name it, I'll race it! I've got big plans for the E30 this summer, but they all point toward the track (road racing).... I think I'm taking it off the road for good (I've got a cop here in Mississauga with a vendetta against me! - no joke!) so a race with that car won't happen unless your friend wants to meet me at Mosport :D . Don't you worry though.. my wagon will also be screaming to 9000rpm all motor (maybe) and you'll see 'nuff races this year with the grocery-getter (hopefully you're one of them).

P.S. where's that video? Still waiting.

Randy,

I wasn't scared of loosing, I was scared of getting caught by cops! Yeah I'm a chicken especially after my $400 speeding tick last year, I was going 220 in a 40 zone, smart move

I think I could beat Jerry if it was from start, I raced him up and down leslie when we got lost trying to look for the Timmie's. He pulled me when we started racing from 3rd gear side by side, I think I could beat him off the line, but not after 120km.

Hey if your E30 isn't going to be streetable that means you won't bring your E30 to the BMW meets? Well I don't go to Mosport, too advanced and too rich for me. I go to Shannonville mostly, but I'm interested in autocrossing, any idea where I can do that?

P.S. I am uploading the video as we speak, I;ve got dial-up! hahah.. I'm poor thats why I drive a 318 :D j/k its a fast little bugger, but needs more top end. And I will definitely race you sometime in the summer when I get my 17"s back on.

Hey that was fun, next time Randy we should have a proper launch, it wasn't until after we got into Tim's that I found out your Civic had a heart transplant:idea: But yeah, till next time I'll be more prepared and ahem...paying attention to the lights *sleep*
But as for Bryan, well, well we'll have to see, but yah took all your junk out, well you still have your diff so this would be interesting. Remember I got more junk inside than you do.....

Jerry

I like how you call it "junk".. all my junk's in the trunk.. and I'm not talking about ICE...

Jerry,

Sounds like a you wanna race? Lets go!!! I think I might loose to you though. I've raced my friend's 325 w/ SS headers, exhaust and chip and I still beat him, hopefully I can still beat you. We should plan a track day at Shannonville, maybe make it a BMW meet too!

P.S. did you fix your bulb in your brake light?

Bryan

mogie
01-29-2002, 07:16 PM
Hey why not, could be fun, just to see what your diff does, as a comparison. And did your other friend know how to drive?? *smoke* Thats kinda important too. I have about 100Lbs of gear in my trunk, hence the superslammed look, even without it still looks slammed. But yeah we so have a go at it when we get the chance, if you race with your 17" you will slow down, due to outer rolling resistance, I notice this with my 18". Hmmmm till we meet.

Jerry,

My 15's have winter tires which I think weigh waaay more than my 17's. My 17" ATS wheels are 18lbs so not too bad, plus I need the traction.

Man, geocities is crap. Its already exceeded its maximum banwidth. No one can download that file anymore. Well I bet Randy's got it, too many people downloaded it. Would anyone be nice enough to send the movie file to Bliss so he can post in the "movies" section?

Thanks
