Hello everyone! I'm new here but I have been on bimmerforums for a bit.

Anyways..Does anyone know of any auto detailers in the GTA that do an excellent job of polishing, removing swirls, waxing, etc?

My 540 has a lot of swirls, especially being dark green, and I feel that if I bought a PC set with pads and compound etc I would probably get into deeper trouble so leaving it to professionals is the way to go. In the spring I will decide whether to keep it or sell it, but either way it needs those swirls removed.

I've heard good things about rmp motors, but do they do detailing?

Very much appreciated!

Just outside the GTA in Thornhill, there is a shop called Pro Auto Tint . They do a great job.

Here is their website http://www.autobahnsalon.com/

I heard they do an excellent job. I'm planning on taking my car there soon. The stupid stealership washed my car after I brought it in for service even when I advised them not to wash it. Now my car is full of swirl marks.

Yea back in 95 I believe when they had to do the nikasil to alusil block replacement on my car, they washed it before they gave it back to me and when I looked at the car, parts of the chrome window moulding had scratches and they cracked my left front blinker. I told them to never wash my car again. In return for the damage they gave me 5 free oil changes and replaced the blinker.

Anyways this autobahn shop seems very good.

Thanks again!

i know that it was 250 for an full outter detail of a 740i so im sure its less for a 5 series. but not certain on that, apparently they do an amazing job as my friend took his father in laws 740 there and it was like new. there are a few shop locations, the one that did the 740 was on laird and eglinton, where i plan to take mine in a few weeks.

Mark if you are taking your car there, come by the MB dealer just east of Laird on Eglinton, I'll show you around the shop & maybe check out the new AMG cars that aren't for sale yet.

I've seen many cars that Premier Auto Detailing has done and they have all come out amazing... not sure what your beef is but perhaps you should take it up with them personally rather than bashing on a forum.

Defamation of Character is not good man.

Thanks for the support Ivan and Bubsy.

I detail a vast majority of BMW's on E46toronto.ca with continuous repeat clients.

Itrotsky... you can contact me personally if you have issues with my company and affiliated organizations. Try the online thing again, and you'll hear from my legal team. This is not the first time. And we take these matters very seriously.

Autobahn is the only place I've brought my car. It's there now, I just had the complete interior done and a exterior wash for the new owner. Great place, many high end and exotics go there so if it's good for them its good for me.

All of the individuals mentioned seem very well qualified. I will make my decision in the spring, after a harsh 6 months of winter driving, to have my car detailed properly.

Thanks again and enjoy the rest of the summer months. *sad*

Why not get Marky_mark to do it now - he'll put a good polish and paint protector to help it survive the winter. His prices are great - and you'll be happy you did it.

Hi Rocka,

Autobahn has gone corporate and commercial. Meaning a lot of their attention now is devoted to just bringing in revenue to cover their overhead costs and expenses.

I still however remain a small business dedicated to ensuring the cars I detail, the customers will return for more detailing.
I can setup an account for you if you have multiple cars to bring me in which the rates will be lower.

If you are downtown at all, the only place to take your care is Every Last Detail at First Canadian Place. I take both my 5 series and X5 there to them as well on any given day, they are working on my buddy's grey F430 as well as numerous E60 M5's even a couple of Porsche GT's. There can easily be 3-4 million dollars worth of cars there every day. You can get an interior and exterior wash and wax for $79.00 right now.

Man try and detail a 8-10 + year old car ! and try and make it look good..

Hey Zak! lol, I didn't know you were on Maxbimmer!

anyways, I think most of the contacts posted are great! I mean, if you're good with detailing, you're good! I would think most reputable shops and induviduals can't afford to do a poor job because in this business, you won't get repeat customers - much needed repeat customers to survive!

I would go with your budget, and make sure you can see a before and then after of cars they've detailed (preferably darker colours, since your car is dark) to make sure there is a noticable difference!

I mean, if you're extremely picky about getting rid of deep swirl marks for good, I heard some people taking their bmw's and high end cars to European Autobody for a nice wet sand! I would imagine thats only for extreme cases/perfectionists like me...

I have been in the car business for 6 years. I own a PDR company and do all my work in the GTA. I was put on to a mobile detailer about 4 years ago and have been using him exclusively. He has done about 50 cars for my customers... mostly high end stuff BMW Jag..Porsche ect ect I have had nothing but 100% positve feedabck on the service the quality and the price. Never had one single problem, and he has the best prices in the city. You can get just a wax or he will go as far as taking the seats out of the car to clean it. And he will come right to your house to do it. He doesn't work in the winter (weather).... but come spring he books up fast.. If you want his number for spring time I will be happy to give it to you.
