that's pretty sweet, but now you have to find a set of smaller rims for winters, which is easy.

dammit I want 19's but don't have the funding, I just need about $8000 :D

Know what you mean. I'm glad i was able to find one in this condiotn with a solid set of rims. As far as winters go, i have the original set of 17's with brand new tires but I have no plans of driving this in the winter yet.

Haha, sorry you had to find out this way man. I was gonna spin by your street today but i couldnt get a hold of your cousin. Come by check out when you got time.

Thanks for all the comments guys !!! I'm tempted to drop it an inch or so but I think i'll put that off till spring. I'll probably be living off of bread and water for a while so it might be wise to put off any mods for a bit lol

eww you like those split 5-star rims, they look nasty, my friend has them on his 530i M-package & he hates them as well, actaully most people I know don't like them.

Agreed. I'd rather have the M5 rims to complete the look. Sweet car, though, in the right colour. Congrats.

Quack, your car is nice as is. My personal belief is that if you want to do up a car, go with the 3 series. The 5 is an elegant car for a gentleman. Its perfect the way it is.

I'm leaving mine stock. Mind you, the main reason is because I have to save for a wedding and a house LOL.

I hate those wheels!!

They're basically the M5 wheels, but they took out the spokes in between each of the 5 star spokes!

*thmbsdwn* *thmbsdwn* *thmbsdwn*

The Style 5 BBS wheels for the 540 are the best wheels bmw has ever made!

thanks for all the compliments guys. As always, there's mixed reviews on the rims but that's cool. I personally love them and feel they look ten times better when you actually see them. The first compliment i get is on the rims and the size of them.

I love the m5 rims myself but it's not exactly original. I see e39's with m5 rims all the time but i never give them a second look since they dont exactly catch my attention. I perfer having something more original rather than going for the "m5 look". That look is good for somebody who wants to play it "safe" and blend in with the rest.

Razkal, good luck on finding the e39 of your dreams. They're awesome cars man, your won't regret it. Not as nimble as the 3 series your used to driving now but they're still the best car in it's class. It's got the room, luxury and plenty of punch when you need it. I have 30/35 series tires on and it's unbelieveable how smooth this beast is. You'll be blown away with how fast these machines can move after 100 km. You'll be at 160km in matter of a few seconds and wont even know it.

Honestly, and I know people are going to hate me for saying this. But everytime I drive my e39, then drive my e36... I want to just drive it into a wall. The e36 has been good, reliable, and a lot of fun to kick around in... but I've outgrown it a long time ago. The e39 is just incredibly enjoyable to drive. Even more-so than the e46. I didn't get the 6-speed since I purchased the e39 for my dad as a present, but it has tiptronic... in a way I'm kinda glad for that. Although the car has the power and torque, you almost don't even want to use it... but instead, just chill back and cruise.

I highly recommend it for a next vehicle. Take one for a spin, see if you can take it home for a night... you won't look back.

And on that note, Desisuperman... that's a gorgeous ride you got too. Looks like it's in incredible condition! Very nice purchase. With the CH's on there, the modding for that car is already done. :)

Thanks Justin! Btw, i took it to RMP just like you said too. He's a good guy, plus I felt confident having him check the car out since he's an e39 owner himself.
