View Full Version : m20 drain plug stripped, what should i do?

yea so i went to go do my oil change and i got underneath and started to take my plug out. so im laying there spinning and spinning away and it doesnt come out, nor does it tighten up. what should i do? i could spend the 200 bux on a new pan or does anyone have a different idea? buying a new pan isnt going to be fun for me.......thanks

JB Weld for this oil change, and get a new oil pan for the next.

Jst go to ur local auto shop and buy a Unversal Drain Plug. that is wat i have on my m20.

yeah get the universal pan saver drain plug. its like a little rubber thing that expands to seal the drain plug.
or helicoil? and retap?
