maybe the fact that he is running a tire that is not as wide as the wheel so that it doesn't rub on the fender in the back!!!

How center peice kinda sticks out so much, to me it looks like you have frankenstiened two different rims together.

Why are you running hydrogen in your summer rim setup (damn costco/price club shoppers!)?!

Isn't that a PITA?! You can't refill it with regular air at the gas pumps if you ever want to!

The valvestem caps.... anytime you see GREEN valve caps, its to symbolize hydrogen! And i believe costco/price club are the only places that fill all their tires with hydrogen. Apperently the hydrogen doesn't fluxuate psi as much.... i still like my regular air!

looking good.

rule of thumbs of being a Rissotto lover:
1) dish or no dish, you gotta poke
2) Stretch is an all around thing, you can't stretch the rear and no front
3) your tires ain't rubbing the the fenders, that ain't euro son!

seriously thou, they look good, but needs more poke.

Stretched rubber scares me!!

Condoms break easier when stretched, why wouldn't tires?!

I dunno... i like my hard cornering, and it would freak me out having stretched rubber cause i would just listen when making turns for a harsh metal scraping sound!

1. I agree.. The funny thing is, When I posted this, I was like wtf. Im gonna need spacers. But when I went outside I didn't even notice, I think there is something wrong with the camera.. In either case, it could be either spacers or coilovers. With coilovers I could achieve a super low look with this setup.

2. I went with 215/45 all around 17x8 and 17x9... There was nothing smaller for the front.

3. I know... Its funny, on www.bmw-syndikat.de almost all e36 have 10" wheels in the back. The problem is, my car wouldn't move with so much weight in the back.

they are fine, trust me, as long you know what you are doing, I've seen 205/55/16 tire blown out on regular 7" wide wheel,

check this guy
http://www.jtuned.com/content/templates/statics.aspx?articleid=12&zoneid=2

and about the front, really eh... the only way to do it is use 205/40/17 then slam the front!!!!

the rear looks real good, I can't wait to make my rear 10.5" with new barrels, 5" of outer barrels :P

Hey uber tuners, please note that Hydrogen (H) is highly flammable stuff, remember the Space Shuttle Columbia? That's what hydrogen does, extremely volatile and unstable... Perhaps you were referring to the opposite side of the Periodic Table of Elements and meant to say Nitrogen (N), an inert gas, which is very stable and prevents oxydization (corrosion) should any moisture get in between your tires and rims (on the inside). Similarly, Xenon (Xe) is also an inert gas and when it reaches an excitation energy level, you get them really cool HIDs.

Dan - Yes I finally got it fixed at Wheelfix. Some dumbass didnt weld the tire properly and when the wheel came back it had another hole! LOL. But they fixed it so I'm happy.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I am gonna take this out (not today unfortunately, but next Friday) to the meet and you can see the car for yourself.

In the future I might either do:

Spacers + Longer bolts
Pros: Looks nice and wide
Cons: Handling will be screwy, and I would be wary of hitting high speeds.

Sell stock suspension and get KW Coilovers
Pros: Car will be low to take advantage of the whole setup
Cons: Gotta sell my existing suspension *sad*

Opinions? Paging Jay..... Bueller.............

KW coilovers and wider tires.
