so i replaced my alternator belt and power steer belt after 1 snapped and the other was pretty much toast.
the power steering belt installed fine and isn't giving me problems.
but the alternator belt for some weird reason will flip over (with teeth side up) and stay like that. the tension is good and i've replaced the first replacement that has done the same thing.
what the hell is going on???

Is everything properly lined up? IE all the pullies in the same plane.

yup...everything lines up right. i think it flips over either when there is load (ie i'm actually moving from a standing stop not just reving it) or when the rpms are high.

Thats ****ed.

My car used to toss alt belts, turned out my pulley was bent real good. I got really fast at changing belts while it was doing it though.
