I'm considering picking up a 86 325i
5 Speed Standard
Still pulls hard
Needs a resonator
A few small rust spots on the body
Not burning oil

Guy is asking $1000

What do you think

not a swap, its an 6'er since i popped the hood and saw the engine. The badge on it says 325I as well.. now i'm kind of wondering ;)

Might be an 87 as i'm being told that Pre 86 and earlier are 325e and 87 and later are 325I

Also, 325e's dont have a resonator

i think this 86 is in better shape than yours and about 2,5k cheaper than what you're asking (although you're open to BO) i dont know if you're open to a 1,000 offer ;)

Damn, that hurt :D. I purposely took the pics to make the car to highlight the problem areas (only 3 issues, none critical). I just don't want anyone to see pics that look pretty but mislead - I'm all about full disclosure.

I'm willing to reduce the price significantly but not down to $1K. ;)

I just don't like the diving board bumpers on the pre '89 E30's.

Anyways, for $1000 get it if it's decent!
