View Full Version : Grinding during sharp turns

Just wondering if you guys could help me out. It started from the front drivers side, during sharp turns, there is a nasty grinding noise, just when the wheel is fully, or close to fully cranked. It has now started to do the same on the passengers side. Exaclty what part(s) must be replaced?

Thanks so much for any input/help

sounds a lot like a wheel bearing. if not, maybe power steering, check fluid
*edit, if it does it when car is stopped and u crank wheel, and its a continuous sound, then its power steering, not wheel bearing.

Hey Luke318 thanks a lot, I had a feeling it was the bearing. No, it doesnt do it when the car is stopped just when its moving. Would this also be why the front end seems so ridiculously loose and 'clunky'? I was planning a bushing overhaul as well.

Thanks again
