This is actually a VERY common swap, and guys have been doing it for quite some time.... verry few people actually do it PROPERLY. Apperently the H22 civics become VERY nose heavy, and handling is sacrificed, but now they have companies that make proper engine mounts, and suspensions for these same swaps!

I would trust that Fukenricen did it all proper (AS USUAL!)

i have raced with civics with type R's,gsr's and H22 motors and the H22 waas the closest to me, maybe the guy i raced with the h22 and other mods i guess he had to have it installed wrong or something cuz there is no way that he would do 13.7 1/4, anyway nice ride!*th-up*

13.7 was better then my old motor but awful times for this one since my tranny is on its way out not wanting to go into 2nd and 3rd only after 2or3trys ,best time this motor ever went was 13.2 and hopefully i can get it back down to that time.I guess im gonna have to wait and see till the end of themonth at the cscs grand bend event

yea i was gonna say judging by how light the civic is with a deuce deuce you should be able to hit 13.2 easily if not faster

your civic weighs what like 1500kg or so cuz i know the CD5 is 1900kg

Seriously doubt it's that heavy, unless you have a huge audio system. Scale it at a truck stop, it's pretty cheap ($10) and you'll know for sure your power to weight ratio.

when i had the roll cage i think it was at 2500or 2600 pounds now i have a bigger motor but no roll cage ,The SI model is a pig to startoff with and 4door civics are lighter then mine stock which is very sad.At least now i have enuf torque with this motor to push the weight unlike other honda motors where torque is next to nothing.
