I'm still somewhat new to the BMW world, and it's pretty confusing (came here from years with Honduhs), so expect quite a few more n00b threads.

and to start off this flurry, what gauge cluster is this and are they interchangeable?

The red needles are usually found on e30 m3s.

But it isn't an //m cluster, it looks like those needles were just painted red and that would be a standard cluster from a 325i/is/ic. I believe.

So does the i/is/ic have a 330kph spedo, or is that some Euro model?

Does anyone have pictures of an eta head in comparison to an i/is head?

Hmm... doubt it's just a euro-spec thing, i have an '89 325is ///M that was brought over to Canada from Germany in '93, and it just has a 260 km/h speedo.

thats definitly not a stock speed gauge... prolly just an overlay... and the red painted needles = pimp

theres a couple speed gauges... early e30s like 318s, early etas had the 220km speedo. newer e30s like 86+ had the 240 speedo, and the M3 has the 260 speedo... never more than that to my knowledge.
