I was wondering if anyone has tried this on an M20. I am more then willing to give this a try on my NA m20 if some one will help me out.
DO you feel that this is worth the money vs. mega squirt?
Please check this out and give me your opinion, keep in mind I am non-turbo.
thanks

HAHAHA, that's hilarious!

friend: WTF, are you playing Gameboy???!?!?!
me: No, I'm h4xing my car biatch! Pass my Mario, will ya.

This looks like a fun novelty I want to waste my money on. Has anyone tried it yet? This sounds smilar to an SAFC, why not just go for one of those?

I think I might be the first to try it in an e30

Total n00b here, but are E30's considered OBD1, 2 or some sort of equivalent?

I used to always run an SAFC or VAFC in my Hondas, but they were always either OBD1 or 2. Going through one of my old manuals, BMW was never in their list.

SAFC is piggy back.

standalone is normally considered a larger set up such as emanage

emanage is a piggy back

Some examples of standalone : MegaSquirt, MoTeC etc.

So why pay $600USD for a piggy back?

exactly...

for $1200CDN you can have VEMS shipped to your door, and it has wideband on board so u can tune it u'rself (if u so choose), and it's a full out standalone, unlike the Greddy eDamage

There you go. I was thinking Apexi PowerFC.

I mean for $600USD you don't even get the damned Gameboy!!!

BMW2ner, for $150 just buy an Apexi SAFC. It's basically the same thing and isn't a kids toy.
