This BMW 530i is in mint condition. Ive been driving it for 2 months but i want to get a standard. This car has power everything, black leather, sunroof, clean inside and out, original paint, no rust, optional premier cd player,e-tested,certified and much more. Call for more details.416-903-1873. Someone offered me $7500 but it will take a month and I really want to get rid of this now so I can get a 5spd*th-up* . I will take 7000 or maybe a trade. Any reasonable offers. I am new to this site so i dont really know how to put pictures on.lol. http://www.buyandsell.ca/classifieds.php?a=2&b=57690

first think you should mention is whether or not it's a nikasil
if it is, how's the compression? idle?

all 530 V8s have nikasil coated sleeves. If someone is considering buying this, then have the engine tested.

^^ some of them were alusil AFAIK depending on production date, alusil does not deteriorate with sulfur in gas, and thus are more desirable.
Also compression numbers would help the sale.

Likewise, if the block was replaced (under warranty or out of warranty) it would also be alusil.

I'm pretty sure its nikasil but ill check the serial number anyways.

hah nowayyy thats way to much work. Imagine moutning the clutch pedal and besides I kind of like the 89-93 bmw grill better just becuase my first car was that style.

Some cars had the block replaced under warranty with another nikasil one .... from the factory.

Doing a swap is possible, but a lot of work, I did one on a 535i E34 (worth as it is rare to get a 5 speed 535i) and it took 2 people 1 day.

Good luck with the sale.
