I've got a full '87 325e that I'm parting out. I'm considering selling the engine as a whole unit, if someone is interested.

The engine has about 287000 kms and has recently had a new timing belt, water pump, and head gasket. This all happened about a year ago, but the car has only travelled about 2000 kms on it.

Engine runs excellent, and I can't find any major issues with it. Really good setup for a plug-and-play into your existing 325e. This will come with whatever you need. ECU, wiring harness, a/c pump, p/s pump, altenator, etc... (tranny is NOT included though). I'm thinking about $500 for the engine and accessories, but I'm open to offers.

I can get pictures if you want, just email me. The engine is still installed in the car, so you can see it running (but not for too long, because the car is getting parted out fast).

I'm about 40 minutes north of Toronto (just north of Newmarket).

I'll have another official thread for all of the other items I'm selling from it, but if you have something specifically you need, send me an email.

I have the stock, plastic valence for this car. Atenna is there, but it doesn't go up/down.

That's why I'm open to offers. I've never sold a complete engine before, but I figured that is a somewhat realistic price. Hell, a complete cylinder head is worth $200-300 for someone.
