Just wondering if anyone has swapped a LT1 or a LS1 motor into a E30 or E28. My buddy is doing a LS1 swap in his RX7 and was wondering if its possible? Mated with a 6 speed it would probably get sweet gas mileage and still be daily driveable and fast as hell stock. If anyone has any idea's, websites or emails of anyone that has tried this let me know.

Thanks
Madison

Because:

a) LSx long blocks are lighter than <insert bimmer LB here>
b) It will create a MORE balanced ride when installed appropriately/correctly
c) It has a much higher HP/TQ output potential for far lower $ than a BMW powerplant
d) It will cost less to maintain/repair/tune

The REAL question is... why do you want to wrap a diamond in tin foil? :D

LSx/T56 = teh pwnerer.
