How much? I'm interested in the first one...

..... what's noteworthy is that it looks like the driver's could have walked away from both accidents. (yay for BMW's new crash testing standards!)

That second e60 m5 hit an e90 325i for those who didn't know. That accident happened in Florida last month. Here are more pics of both cars...

On that note... the driver of this e36 328is did not walk away..... but he's alive. As usual for e36 (and e34) high speed side impact collissions.. the car was torn in two. Only held together by the passenger door sill, and a rachet strap on the driver's side. Buckled in front of the B pillar.

Also just found a rare e38 750iXL that was crashed.. looks fixable. Man these cars are just incredibly pimp inside. Buffalo hide interior, hand cut, polished, and installed mahogany wood trim, reclining, powered, & heated rear seats, rear armrest controls, front & rear telephones, rear seat TV w/ DVD & VCR, etc. I still haven't seen an e66 760iXL yet.. wonder what new features they added on from the 760iL.

Hound: from the E38!

and Justin, are you serious about E36's being so unsafe in high speed side impact collisions? does that happen often?

wow, i wonder how much better the e46 is v.s. the e36 in high speed collisions. I was under the impression that bmws handled highspeed collisions VERY well

well look at the cabin, its pretty much intact. That's all that counts really. all car manufactuers create crumple zones in the front and rear to cushion the driver/passengers.

Why the Airbag on driver side didn't open in this pic ?

Quack

because the accident is on the passenger side, not all air bags deploy in a accident, the computer determines which air bags to deploy & how fast to deploy them as well, there are lots of variables to account for

I'd love a long wheel base old 7er.... I'd drop it on chromies and tint it darker than Samuel L Jackson

That pic isn't a long wheel base (750il ... or 750li) .. it's an EXTRA long wheelbase. 750ixl. We never had them in north america..... more pics: http://bmw.carclub.ru/articles/allarticles/0000001625/

how much for the engine, it even working?

from the dealer its listed at 24,000 USD + core for a remanufactured one. So probably around 30,000 USD.

The 7spd. SMG tranny is around 8,900 USD + core so probably around 10,000 USD.

Prices based on numbers on realoem.com
