i put them on and then went for a lil run to see the diff in power, and the diff is THERE.... i can feel the power lose with the csl's 18's, damn i'm sooo happy that my deal with the 19's BBS went bad ..... anyways i did some runs with the Gtech with the 18's and i got an avarage run of 172hp to the wheels, (the gtech hp's are less then the dynos cuz of earo drag, temp, they are REAL life usable hps) anyways thats not the point.... but with my 17's m68's i get an avarage of 188 or sooo.... but when i did the run with the 17's it was at nite and cooler but still, so they do slow u down, u can even tell... anyways while i was doin some runs this fack'n guy in a cobalt SS comes out of nowhere and tells me that my car is a piece of shit and its slow.. and i Laughed and say lets go!!! and after few times of saying that we finally went,(lol we were talking over the windows while driving....) he started to gun it and i gunned it right after in second, started from 2.5RPM's till REDLINE, and i had about a car length on him ... and after i'm like what happend? did u miss shift? and i had this HUDGE a$$ SMILE on my face :D and his is like is that a M series and i told him not to worry about that kinda car it is! then his like lets go on the HWY, on the HWY u got no chance.... so i just told him not to talk shit about cars that he knows nothing about and drove off! BTW this was a old fack'n english guy, lol..... i was on the 18's BTW too ... another Kill under my belt with my BEAST, i love her!!! *love*

THANX RAY FOR UR HELP !!! u da BEST, i OWE YOU!!!!

The rims look good, but i think you need to swap your front wheels. Correct me if i'm wrong, but your tire looks like it's on backwards. (image 1)

i'll let the guy know about the tires..... so the tires aren't put on the rim right or he needs to swap the front left and front right?

I don't know if he installed the tires right or not, but judging from those pics it looks like the L/F is on the wrong side, go check it yourself, the tires should have a arrow or something telling you which direction they should go

Next time you take pics, head for a more interesting location, and take many shots of your car in different positions, rather than many shots of the car in one position. It makes the car look better, and everyone gets a better view of the car from a variety of angles.

No need to swap tire off the rim... Just swap them off.. Also check your rears too... Often issue with misinstalled directional tire will cause very noticable tire noise...

Btw, nice rims

he needs to swap them - left & right for both the front & back! You'll ruin the tires if you keep driving them like that. look for the directional arrow on the tire sidewall.

Easy buddy, Its's still a subaru at the end of the day, and my ZHP still was only less than a car length behind an STI for a good 2-3 KM's highway run. Funny to see the look on the owners face of that black modded STI.

the 330ci is totally capable with the right driver and correct mods.

by the way, my ZHP is almost stock which makes that STI look even worse. haha.

The rims look great man! who care about going fast!

You keep the 17's for track days!

edit: 328power, nice colour, I love white, looks sexy!

I understand that, however 15 + pics of the car in the same position and just tilting the camera doesn't give a good feel for the look of the car. If you're going to do something, do it right, even when taking pics.

Don't take me the wrong way, I'm not trying to bash you or anything. Car looks good, CSL's make any 3 series instantly look better.

Relllllaxxxxxx I wasnt ripping on him just surprised he could run a 5.57 in the 0-60 thats all....

AND AT THE END OF THE DAY im GLAD I HAVE A SUBARU AND NOT A BIMMER.

I had a bimmer for 3 years and it was great but i have my subaru now and i dont doubt my purchase at all ( i put down an offer on a 2002 330ci just before i bought my WRX and the seller backed out right before the sale... next day i found my WRX .. IM Glad i went with my subaru -- I got 10 + grand in my .
Dont doubt going to subaru at all- I did have doubts at the time since im a bimmer fanatic)

I dont doubt your ZHP kept up with a stock STI on the highway. They are ok at best up above 120km when stock.

Go from a stoplight and it wouldnt be close. *wave*

Sorry for going off track....Rims look good bro

++I also love your ZHP 330CI if i wasnt gonna buy a house in the next year i might have gotten one

I would get destroyed by that STI on a quater mile race track. I'd still be spinning while he's already gone...

explain to me why most STI's I have seen are slow over 140KM/h

Small Displacement -AWD - turbo not made for highend power - they are still fast but not compared to big displacment beasts with highend gearing.

subys are made for 1/4 mile / autoX / and of course ralleying ( where they really shine ) not to mention amazing in the snow ! perfect for our climate

All this talk about speed, 1/4 mile and racing......................it almost feels like Supraforums. You guys need to chill out with your g-tech 0-60 times and rwhp, that's rice. We drive BMW's, so let's not play like these are some fast rides.................they just handle real nice!
