Hello guys I dont know if this has been discussed before but I am going to me waxing the ride this weekend or next and I was wondering through personal experience whats the best wax you guys have used. I saw a show a while ago and wax experts and they said anything that is a hard wax tends to have more carnuba in it as oppose to the liquids. Anyone used the bars and which ones.

Thanks*wave*

Zaino's gives you a very good shine. Its not the greatest, but it lasts FOREVER

I too detailed my car this past weekend with the Mother's 3 step system. Turned out very nice. Zimmie mentioned it already and that's where I got it from. Sale ends on May 31 so if you want to get it you have about a week left.

Is this not part of the 3 phase process that mothers has of can you just use it directly on its own

Also a tip guys before you wax your car I have heard that its best to wash your car with dishwashing soap. I know hold on ! Its is suppose to strip the old wax and pitting int he wax and prepare a rough surface for the new wax

I like mothers but knowing how I like detailing the car I could tell you you can work wonders with Meguires types 2,3, and 7. If your car is old and faded try 49 .. u will shit yourself.

Well I have the car recently compound polish (5 months ago) professionally by a body shop that I know. Turned out amazing. Thats why I am thinking I can get away with a single step. Any thoughts

i had a review up for the mothers carnauba wax 3 step process(claybar.polish.wax)

My parents ride had been detailed by Lexus' own detailing service(not outsourced)....but i gave it a go anyway and it really was great :) wax lasted pretty long too!(dark coloured car) but thats cuz it's garaged and only driven on weekends :D

Just read this thread and look at the pictures - Zaino seems like the best thing hands down.
